SUPPORT FROM INTERNATIONAL EXPERTS AND MENTORS FOR STARTUPS IN MOLDOVA

The National Association of ICT Companies (ATIC) comes up with new development opportunities for IT entrepreneurship by launching TRACTION Camp Moldova – an unprecedented intensive acceleration program in our country.

TRACTION Camp is an international program aimed at offering startups mentoring, consulting and access to resources, networks and opportunities to facilitate successful business launch and development at a global level. The program launches and conducts mini-acceleration events that bring together Silicon Valley’s prominent experts and the most promising startups in Europe.

Over 100 startups have been trained so far as part of the TRACTION Camp initiative. Following the program, the teams’ results are impressive: over 50% of participants have expanded their teams and more than 40% have managed to attract greater investments.

After a number of successful events in Silicon Valley, Ukraine, Georgia and Macedonia, TRACTION Camp reaches Moldova, offering 3 days of intense learning and acceleration to entrepreneurs from our country. The program agenda will include sessions on the most pressing issues for startup founders: pitching, MVP, marketing, business development, business strategies, Growth Hacking and investment raising. The sessions will be moderated by international mentors, experts with vast experience in supporting the launch and development of companies with global potential.

There is a massive cultural difference that founders without outside experience cannot internalize. And that’s why most startups from Central and Eastern Europe fail. Teams that develop innovative products in the field of technology and need support in their launch or promotion may participate in TRACTION Camp Moldova. Participation is free of charge. Registration is done online by 15 February 2018. Selected candidates will be notified by the Program Coordinator within 3 days after the end of the selection period.

TRACTION Camp program has been launched in the Republic of Moldova by the National Association of ICT Companies, with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Government of Sweden within ‘Development of Moldova ICT Excellence Center’ project.
