DESCRIPTION:  \nThey followed the urge to create a business in 54 hours\, and now they are ready to deliver solutions suitable to the new reality generated by the COVID-19 pandemic. \nThe Respiro project\, which aims to provide free online psychological assistance to Moldovans abroad\, is the winner of “Startup Weekend Moldova 2020”. This event is the most dynamic and exciting entrepreneurial competition\, which has ranked the Republic of Moldova as part of the global program along with over 70 states from all over the world. This year’s edition had been organised online in the context of the digitalization of entrepreneurship becoming a vital trend for post-pandemic survival. \nRespiro is a platform that aims to offer free psychological counselling online through secure video chats. Therefore the discussions between the psychologist and the client will take place in a secure environment offering maximum confidentiality. The service offered by Respiro can be accessed in Romanian and Russian for those located abroad. \nAna Niculăeș\, representative of the Respiro project: “Winning the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic begins with each of us\, therefore\, the psychological support is extremely important during this period. Nowadays\, more and more people are tempted by contradictory emotions caused by the period of uncertainty we are going through\, and Respiro aims to offer free psychological counselling during the pandemic. We aim to promote our idea through a series of free webinars in dedicated groups on social networks\, but also through various collaboration projects with associations activating in the diaspora. Those who would like to benefit from this service will have to fill in a file to keep track of the monthly subscription.” \n  \nBehind the idea of ​​Respiro\, which aligns with one of the objectives of the World Health Organization\, are three young enthusiasts: Ana Niculăeș\, psychologist\, Alex Vulpea\, developer\, and Ion Ceban\, marketing specialist. To implement the project idea\, 48 psychologists have shown their willingness to offer free online consultations and about 20 people in the diaspora from the UK\, France\, Spain\, Italy\, and Canada have already shown interest in testing these services. \n  \nThis year’s edition of “Startup Weekend Moldova 2020”\, entitled “Techstars Online Global Startup Weekend” was organized with the support of United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Government of Sweden\, within the Tekwill Project along with partnerships with Dreamups\, Generator Hub\, and Cawsay Show. \n  \nAna Chirița\, Tekwill Project Director stated: “Startup Weekend Moldova” has already become an emblematic event for the entire IT community and a representative for Tekwill Project\, an important player in strengthening the startup ecosystem in the country\, contributing to accelerating the development of small businesses in IT and creating development opportunities of entrepreneurship in Moldova\, through various relevant programs. This year’s edition was in line with global trends and took the form of a practical exercise in developing solutions to combat the pandemic. He currently works as a product owner at Pentalog;\nAnton Perkin – has 15 years of experience as a developer and 9 years as a company manager. In 2011 he founded FusionWorks\, the IT outsourcing company and Developer® Community\, the largest in Moldova.\nConstantin Șarcov – founder and Creative Director at Piko Creative\, one of the most awarded creative institutions in Moldova;\nMihai Stipanov – founder of the Dreamups community. He was involved in launching several technology businesses and coordinated an international startup accelerator.\nLisa Guțu – head of business development at the FinTech company Salt Edge;\nElena Putina – UI/UX Designer at the American creative agency Enspire\, and started Gribook Accessories\, a business in Moldova with accessories and book covers.\n\n  \nThe jury who chose the winner included: \n\nGrigore Raileanu – Retently Founder;\nXenia Munteanu – Co-Founder and CEO of Planable;\nNikolay Manolov – Chairman of the Board of Directors at XOR.ai.\n\n  \nAbout TEKWILL Project \nTEKWILL project is implemented by the National Association of ICT Companies with the financial support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Sweden. “Tekwill” was created in 2017 as a Center of Excellence of the ICT sector in Moldova\, with the main purpose of aligning the field with current market requirements. DESCRIPTION:Republica Moldova se numără printre cele peste 100 de state care au răspuns apelului global de a participa la redresarea sectorului turismului post-pandemie. Astfel\, 4 soluții inovatoare propuse de țara noastră vor completa lista celor peste 1000 de proiecte înscrise în campania „Healing Solutions Tourism Challenge” lansată de Organizația Mondială a Turismului (OMT). Inițiativa OMT constă într-un apel de a crea soluții care ar putea contribui la refacerea rapidă a industriei. Campania se desfășoară în contextul în care\, la nivel global\, sectorul turismului se confruntă cu cele mai mari pierderi cauzate de COVID-19. În Moldova campania este susținută de Agenția de Investiții și mediul asociativ\, reprezentat de Proiectul TEKWILL. \nRodica Verbeniuc\, director general\, Agenția de Investiții: „Suntem convinși că regândirea strategiilor și proceselor de activitate prin intermediul soluțiilor digitale ne-ar ajuta să facem față provocărilor din domeniu și să reanimăm sectorul turistic. Prin activitățile întreprinse\, Republica Moldova a fost singura țara dintre membrele OMT care a făcut parteneriat cu mediul asociativ pentru a promova inițiativa globală. Am încurajat participarea la nivel național\, odată ce platforma nu doar va identifica cele mai viabile soluții cu posibilitatea replicării acestora în diverse țări\, dar și deschide șanse de vizibilitate și afirmare internațională pentru cei înscriși”. \nAna Chirița\, directoare\, Proiectul TEKWILL: „La nivel mondial digitalizarea devine un trend\, întrucât tehnologiile informaționale ajută la identificarea unor soluții inovatoare\, care să scoată din impas sectoarele importante ale economiei. Campania OMT devine astfel o oportunitate atât pentru sectorul IT\, cât și pentru cel al turismului. Ne alăturăm partenerilor noștri și susținem inițiativele IT pentru a reduce consecințele pandemiei asupra turismului și a crea noi modalități de explorare a acestui sector.” \nCampania OMT vizează startup-urile\, creatorii de soluții inovatoare\, antreprenorii din domeniul IT și cele conexe turismului\, care au idei și proiecte gata de a fi implementate și ar putea contracara efectele epidemiei de COVID-19 asupra sectorului ospitalier. Astfel\, proiectele selectate vor intra într-un booklet digital spre distribuție către 150 + ministere din lume\, iar prezentarea ideilor va fi susținută în cel mai inovativ spațiu – școala internațională de business IE University WOW Room\, cu participarea Secretarului General al OMT\, Zurab Pololikashvili. Câștigătorii selectați vor intra în cea mai notorie comunitate inovativă OMT (UNWTO Innovation Network) care enumeră peste 5000 startup-uri în turism\, 930 corporații\, 300 instituții publice\, 50 instituții educaționale\, 30 incubatoare și 200 investitori. \n  \nPROIECTE PENTRU IMPULSIONAREA TURISMULUI LA NIVEL LOCAL\nCele 4 proiecte propuse de țara noastră au venit din partea reprezentanților „Medical Tourism Review”\, „Hai la țară”\, „Visit.md” și „Teleportravel”. \nVisit.md este reprezintă o platformă de tururi virtuale 3D prin care turiștii pot cunoaște diverse locuri din țară. \nAnton Perkin\, fondator Visit.md: „Proiectul cu care am aplicat la campania lansată de Organizația Mondială a Turismului permite doritorilor să viziteze online diferite obiective turistice\, fără a-și pune în pericol viața și sănătatea. Pe lângă faptul că pot vedea tururi virtuale\, aceștia pot avea acces și la un ghid care să le povestească în timp real despre locația respectivă. Tururile nu sunt video-uri obișnuite\, ci oferă posibilitatea de a parcurge itinerarul dorit și de a vedea aceste locuri la 360 de grade.” \nO altă idee propusă este platforma Teleportravel\, prin intermediul căreia oamenii pot accesa destinații neexplorate și itinerare unice\, create de alți turiști. \nStas Balaur\, fondator Teleportravel: „Vrem ca prin intermediul platformei Teleportravel\, care conține un ghid online și messenger\, să oferim posibilitatea oricărui turist ca după încheierea călătoriei să poată împărtăși experiențele sale turistice și altor doritori\, în același timp câștigând bani din asta. Proiectul presupune clasificarea tematică a itinerariilor turistice\, pentru ca iubitorii de păsări să viziteze locuri în care pot vedea păsări\, amatorii de pescuit să cunoască locuri unde pot pescui etc.” \nȘi „Hai la țară” este o soluție inovatoare pentru reanimarea turismului. Acesta este un marketplace online cu diferite destinații\, activități și evenimente ușor de accesat. Proiectul presupune valorificarea locurilor și experiențelor mai puțin cunoscute\, dar interesante\, inclusiv pentru localnici. \nAlex Gutsaga\, fondator „Hai la țară”: „După carantină oamenii își vor dori un respiro\, iar pe această platformă pot găsi oferte pentru o serie de activități de olărit alături de copii\, pentru a crea propriul set de vase din lut\, pe care ulterior să-l ia acasă sau să-l dăruiască bunicii și să aibă o activitate cu impact emoțional. De asemenea\, în Moldova sunt peste 1000 de bazine private neuitilizate\, care ar putea fi folosite de grupuri mai restrânse. Noi trebuie să ajutăm oamenii să cunoască aceste locuri și să aibă acces la evenimente și activități interesante.” \nO altă platformă inovatoare dedicată turismului medical este cea elaborată de Medical Tourism Review\, care conectează oamenii la spitale din toată lumea\, oferindu-le informații pentru a-și găsi tratamentul cel mai potrivit. \nSergiu Nagailic\, co-fondator Medical Tourism Review: „Instrumentul nostru poate fi folosit pentru consultații de tip text\, audio sau video. Multe spitale de stat sunt în carantină și chiar dacă unele spitale nu sunt\, există un risc sporit ca pacienții sa fie infectați cu COVID-19. Telemedicina va permite ca mulți pacienți să se consulte cu medicii\, fără să părăsească confortul propriei locuințe.” \nProiectul Tekwill se implică cu prioritate în mobilizarea comunității IT prin susținerea mai multor inițiative menite să reducă consecințelor pandemiei de Covid-19. Acestea se referă nu doar la sectorul turismului\, dar și a altor domenii de importanță națională precum educația\, antreprenoriatul\, proiecte sociale etc. \n  \nDESPRE PROIECTUL TEKWILL\nProiectul TEKWILL este implementat de Asociația Națională a Companiilor din Domeniul TIC cu susținerea financiară a Agenției Statelor Unite pentru Dezvoltare Internațională și a Suediei. „Tekwill” a fost creat în anul 2017 ca Centru de Excelență al sectorului ICT din Moldova\, având drept scop principal alinierea domeniului la cerințele curente ale pieței. Pentru a continua să contribuie la creșterea competitivității industriei IT și a altor sectoare strategice ale economiei\, centrul și-a extins domeniile de activitate\, devenind în 2019 un proiect complex la nivel național. Obiectivul de bază al Proiectului TEKWILL\, în calitatea sa de platformă dedicată progresului sectorului IT\, este de a asigura un impact major asupra dezvoltării economice a țării prin îmbunătățirea capacităților antreprenoriale și educaționale ale societății\, dar și prin sporirea potențialului de cercetare și dezvoltare al instituțiilor de învățământ\, în conformitate cu cererea de pe piața IT.

După anul 2000\, asemenea situații au dus la crearea și ascensiunea unor afaceri online de renume\, iar aceste exemple ne conving că în noua realitate\, cauzată de pandemia COVID-19\, startup-urile IT devin o soluție\, atât pentru depășirea provocărilor actuale\, cât și pentru combaterea crizei economice. \nDin acest considerent\, „Startup Weekend Moldova 2020”\, cea mai dinamică competiție antreprenorială oferă participanților oportunitatea de a pune bazele unui un start-up în doar 3 zile și să beneficieze de suportul mentorilor și al experților naționali și internaționali\, pentru a crea produse și servicii inovatoare anti-criză. Evenimentul cu genericul „Techstars Global Online Startup Weekend” clasează țara noastră în lista celor peste 70 de state ale lumii care fac parte din programul Startup Weekend Global. \nDacă ai o idee inovatoare înscrie-o AICI până pe 22 aprilie\, ora 18.00. Since the state of emergency had been established in early March\, ICT companies and members of the National Association of ICT Companies (ATIC) have been among the first to be involved to assist with continuing certain social processes with the help of information technologies. Currently\, ATIC and the Tekwill Project are aligning their efforts to prevent the spread of the virus but also to reduce the consequences of the pandemic caused by COVID-19\, through the #AntiVirusAction initiative. This initiative calls on all members of the ICT community to strengthen their efforts to limit the spread of the virus and mitigate the economic impact on society. \n  \nDONATIONS AND SUPPORT FOR SOCIAL PROJECTS\nSeveral ICT companies in Moldova have come together to support social projects. Due to this involvement\, many Moldovan students can continue their studies with their teachers via distance learning\, companies are benefiting from IT systems for free\, citizens are enjoying more access to digital services and products for free\, vulnerable families are receiving food donations\, and medical staff is being assisted in their efforts to fight the pandemic\, among others. \n  \n1 DAY FROM SALARY FOR DOCTORS FROM MOLDOVA\nThe #AntiVirus initiative is also a call for solidarity to support and encourage doctors and medical staff as they are one of the most vulnerable groups during this time. This group initiative was started by three people – Victoria Dunford\, the founder of the well-known charitable organization MAD – Aid; Ana Racu\, a professional in the field of human rights defense and UN ambassador in Moldova for the prevention of torture; and Anatol Untura\, an IT entrepreneur. DESCRIPTION:  \nInnovative IT solutions can help reduce COVID-19 illnesses. A group of volunteers and experts in the IT sector have developed an online application called the Medcast chatbot\, which fulfills several functions in the format of telemedicine and is intended for human health care\, by monitoring potential symptoms of illness. Moreover\, the online solution contains useful information about quarantine conditions\, advice on personal care and housing and also offers users the opportunity to notify their family doctor if they suspect that they have specific symptoms of COVID-19. \nThe online application was developed by a working group that included nine IT specialists\, but also representatives of the Ministry of Health\, Labor and Social Protection\, doctors\, and professors from the medical departments of universities. The chatbot was also developed with the support of the Tekwill Project which contributes to creating opportunities for entrepreneurship development in Moldova\, including facilitating access to resources and creating necessary connections. The idea for the project came after the “Hack the Virus” hackathon in March\, where several solutions to combat COVID-19 were identified. \nAna Chirița\, director of TEKWILL Project stated\, “Our goal is to seek for ways to reduce and even solve problems through information technologies. After participating in the organization of the online hackathon “Hack the Virus”\, where representatives of the medical sector were involved\, we understood that the most appropriate solutions are those for prevention and pre-diagnosis. Thus\, after the hackathon\, a team of developers launched this product – the result of several meetings with representatives of the health sector\, and together with them developed this chatbot format – the most suitable for the needs of the population. Formulas for diagnosing COVID-19 symptoms are approved by the Ministry of Health\, therefore\, the application is an extremely useful tool for doctors fighting on the front lines\, but also for local authorities\, and this way we could identify certain cases of disease in advance. We want the chatbot to be used by as many people as possible\, and thus\, to reduce the number of illnesses.” \nThe purpose of the Medcast chatbot is to help users make a pre-diagnosis and to monitor their symptoms if they are under monitoring with the reporting of data to the family doctor. Additionally\, it also provides useful information regarding the rules imposed during the state of emergency and quarantine. \nThe Medcast chatbot is available for Viber and Telegram applications\, and it will soon be available for use on Facebook. \n  \nThe application has the following functions: \n\nPre-diagnosis of COVID-19 which is performed by the chatbot in accordance with the protocol of the Ministry of Health. Thus\, users must answer 18 questions about their personal health;\nReporting the results to their family doctor which are possible after a user registers on the platform;\nIf the condition of one of the users who shows symptoms related to COVID-19 suddenly worsens the application offers the possibility of immediate reporting to the 112 service;\nIf after the pre-diagnosis a high risk of infection is identified\, then the user will receive alert messages once every 2 hours to report their temperature\, headache\, coughing or sneezing and other symptoms;\nInformation on the quarantine and self-isolation regime in the context of the pandemic;\nContact information for family physician centers across the country\, including addresses and telephone numbers;\nInformation on the official statistics of the number of patients with COVID-19 in the Republic of Moldova\, including the districts in the region but also globally.\n\nThis IT solution is also functional for the representatives of the health system\, who after registering online on behalf of their professional status\, can collect information from the patients under monitoring and download the reports on patients’ health. \n  \nAbout the Tekwill Project \nThe Tekwill project is implemented by the National Association of ICT Companies with the financial support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Sweden. Tekwill was created in 2017 as a Center of Excellence of the ICT sector in Moldova\, with the main purpose of aligning the field with current market requirements. SUMMARY:ICT CAREER PROMOTION CAMPAIGN “CHOOSE A CAREER IN IT”
DESCRIPTION:The campaign “Choose a Career in IT” developed and implemented by ATIC in partnership with six leading local companies in the field has currently reached around 1540 students from grades 10-12 from 25 different lyceums of Moldova from the North\, South\, and Central areas. The campaign will run between January – May 2020 and provides insights and guidance for choosing a job within the IT sector. \nThe campaign aims to communicate the benefits of embracing an IT career and provides students with the essential benchmarks regarding the opportunities and prospects of a career in IT\, career directions\, and institutions where IT studies can be pursued. During these information and career guidance sessions\, students have the opportunity to talk with experienced IT professionals from ISD Moldova\, Orange\, Allied Testing\, Development Aid\, Pentalog\, Salt Edge Moldova\, M-Testing (ATIC Members) and learn valuable suggestions and tips from them. \nSo far\, 45 institutions have registered to host a Career Orientation session at their facility. Registration continues as new institutions request to participate in the campaign. Students and teachers have both given positive feedback\, as they have appreciated these sessions and found them useful and highly impactful in making future research about higher education choices easier. It also enabled a great way for students to interact with specialists from the IT domain\, which has been beneficial in the rural areas of Moldova since this type of activity is typically difficult to acquire. \nAs the campaign had planned to run through May 2020 its aim was to visit 100 educational institutions and to reach approximately 6\,000 students about their future career and higher education options in Moldova\, mainly in the ICT industry. \nHowever\, since March 11th\, regretfully this initiative has been interrupted due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The sessions in schools will resume once the restrictions are lifted. \nImpact: Out of 45 registered educational institutions to host a Career Orientation session at their facility\, 25 lyceums have already hosted information sessions\, while the rest have postponed for Autumn 2020. \nThe ICT Career Orientation sessions have been organized by ATIC\, the implementing partner of the USAID and Sweden Government-funded Tekwill Project and the support of UN Women through the “Enabling Women in Tech” Project.

DESCRIPTION:  \nThe IT community is joining together to create and improve existing projects aimed at combating the effects caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. \nTekwill joined the C19.md initiative group to organize an online hackathon with the theme “Hack the Virus”. The event was held the weekend of March 20-22 and was supported by UNICEF Moldova\, UNDP Moldova\, the Mentor.Me Project\, and the Cowsay.Show podcast. \nFor three days\, participating teams presented several projects aimed at combating the pandemic by identifying solutions and tools using current technology available. The participants in the hackathon were guided by IT experts and had the opportunity to communicate with organizations and representatives from international communities in order to apply the best technologies. \nAna Chirița\, director of the Tekwill project stated “Since the outbreak of the pandemic caused by COVID-19\, the Tekwill project has been involved in several initiatives aimed at identifying real solutions so that certain processes in the society can continue their course with the help of information technologies. This time\, Tekwill has aligned its efforts with the C19.md initiative to organize the first online hackathon that focuses on finding and developing projects to improve the process of disseminating truthful and official information to prevent the spread of the virus but also to reduce the consequences of the pandemic. Guide for teachers and schools\, proposing various digital tools for any need.\nGreen Zone / Avoid them Maybe? – An application that allows users to be informed about crowds in stores and gas stations to reduce the risk of coronavirus infection.\nCOVID-19 genotype map – Development and research of the COVID-19 genome map for finding action points on the virus to eliminate or limit its spread.\n\nDuring the three days of the hackathon\, representatives of the Ministry of Health and the Labour and Social Protection\, who are also part of the Single Command Center for crisis management caused by the COVID-19 virus\, interacted with 120 registered participants and came up with some project suggestions: \n\nTelemedicine – remote consultations for doctors from all over the country to inform them about the necessary measures to be taken\, in order not to get infected with COVID-19.\nSolutions for centralized communication with all the hospitals in the country\, so that all the managers of the medical institutions are informed about the latest decisions.\nVoice mail for the population.\n\nThere will be an opportunity for more ideas at the next online hackathon to generate more useful solutions to “Hack the Virus”.

Iar mai mulți profesioniști din Moldova au făcut front comun pentru a crea platforme\, instrumente și conținut util pentru ca lecțiile să poată fi ținute și la distanță. Studii.md este una dintre platformele care conectează la educație copiii\, profesorii și părinții și este deja utilizată de către mai multe instituții de învățământ din Moldova. Aceasta a fost dezvoltată de compania Simpals\, cu susținerea și implicarea Programului Națiunilor Unite pentru Dezvoltare și TEKWILL\, în scopul digitalizării procesului educațional. \n  \nSTUDII.MD – CONȚINUT DIGITAL ȘI MANAGEMENTUL PROCESULUI DE STUDIU ONLINE\nStudii.md este o platformă complexă pentru educația virtuală\, care cuprinde conținut didactic adaptat învățământului digital și dispune și de instrumente de management al procesului de studiu. \nPlatforma combină câteva direcții principale: agenda electronică\, registru electronic\, orarul lecțiilor\, analiza performanțelor\, dar și informații despre elevi. Conectarea este realizată de către administrația școlii\, care transmite o invitație de activare pe adresa de e-mail a elevului. \nPe studii.md\, utilizatorii pot să creeze pagini personalizate și să facă o analiză a reușitei școlare\, într-o formă comodă și accesibilă. Platforma conține orarul lecțiilor dar și o bibliotecă\, în care sunt stocate toate materialele educaționale. Prin intermediul acesteia\, elevii primesc notificări legate de procesul de învățământ. Posibilitățile tehnice îi permit să emită rapoarte standardizate care sunt expediate în mod automat către instituțiile de resort (minister\, direcții etc.). Astfel\, toate informațiile sunt transferate electronic\, în timp util și în mod transparent\, iar programul de învățământ este implementat cu succes. \nPlatforma\, adaptată pentru acces de pe orice sistem de operare (IOS sau Windows) poate fi accesată și de pe dispozitivele mobile. \nSistemul studii.md se bazează pe experiența instituțiilor de învățământ din Europa\, unde agendele electronice sunt larg răspândite. \nProgramul studii.md a adunat deja peste 20 de instituții de învățământ și are 36 mii de utilizatori unici. \n  \nSOLIDARI PENTRU EDUCAȚIE – MAI MULȚI PROFESIONIȘTI CREEAZĂ CONȚINUT DIGITAL\nDatorită eforturilor profesorilor\, voluntarilor\, specialiștilor din domeniul IT\, în țară există mai multe platforme de învățământ la distanță\, așa cum sunt edusmart.md (o bibliotecă digitală pentru stocarea și partajarea resurselor eletronice educaționale de tip text și video)\, UTM (cursuri online pentru pregătirea de bacalaureat)\, AGIRoMD (blogul Asociației Generale a Profesorilor etc.)\, Tekwill Academy și Tekwill Academy Kids. Și alți specialiști din domeniul educației au înregistrat conținut digital pentru elevi\, care a fost plasat pe diferite pagini online. Pentru ca aceste lecții să fie mai accesibile pentru profesori și elevi\, Proiectul TEKWILL împreună cu specialistul IT Vitalie Eșanu\, au luat inițiativa de a crea o pagină web\, pe care să adune tot acest conținut de pe paginile online – invat.online. \nCreatorul paginii face apel către toți voluntarii care deja au înregistrat lecțiile video\, să le plaseze pe pagină. \n  \nÎNVAT.ONLINE – PAGINA TA CU LECȚII VIRTUALE!\nInvat.online. este construită după modelul „sălilor de clasă virtuale”\, pagina web permite fiecărui cadru didactic sau instituții de învățământ să integreze link-uri\, videoclipuri\, imagini cu un conținut relevant pentru temele din curricula școlară. Ulterior\, elevii vor putea căuta toate materialele pentru tema care urmează a fi studiată. Absolut gratuită și ușor de utilizat\, platforma își propune să adune într-un singur loc toate lecțiile înregistrate de profesori\, care însă vor apărea pe interfața paginii web doar după ce trec filtrele de calitate. \n  \nPROIECTUL TEKWILL ESTE ÎN CĂUTAREA VOLUNTARILOR!\nFie că ești specialist IT\, ai cunoștințe practice în utilizarea aplicațiilor digitale G Suite\, Microsoft Teams\, Skype\, Zoom sau altele sau ești profesor care utilizează pe larg platformele destinate educației la distanță\, alătură-te grupului de inițiativă lansat de echipa Proiectului TEKWILL. Due to the joint efforts of IT professionals\, teachers\, and community leaders\, it has been made possible for students to stay up-to-date with schooling and continue their education online. \nA call was made for IT specialists and anyone with experience in using GSuite\, Microsoft Teams\, Skype\, Zoom\, or other digital applications as well as teachers who have used distance education platforms to join the Tekwill Project team in supporting teachers across the country to facilitate distance education. \n  \nA SINGLE PLATFORM FOR INTEGRATING ALL RECORDED ONLINE LESSONS HAS LAUNCHED\nOne of the newest tools that enable teachers and students to return to lessons is an online learning platform that was built on the model of “virtual classrooms”. This platform\, invat.online\, allows teachers or educational institutions to upload links\, videos\, and images with relevant content to topics in the school curriculum. Subsequently\, the platform is free and easy to use as students are able to search for materials by subject as teachers record and place the content on the platform after passing through quality filters. The platform will also host all of the didactic video materials developed by the Tekwill project. \nInvat.online was created by IT specialist and civic activist Vitalie Esanu\, IT developer. Esanu remarked about the platform\, “The educational process can continue in the ordinary regime due to information technologies. Even though the classes are now suspended for safety reasons\, teachers have all the tools they need to be able to teach at a distance\, and students can continue to learn. The invat.online platform is easy to use\, and in order to be part of this online community\, teachers just need to record the video lesson\, then place it on the web page. In turn\, students will have the opportunity to attend several lessons on the same topic\, held by different teachers”. \nTeachers across the country are urged to use technology and the online platform to continue education for students during the quarantine. The Tekwill project urges: “Stay home! Aceasta este promisiunea cu care pe 15 martie 2017\, Centrul de Excelență al sectorului Tehnologiilor Informaționale din Moldova „Tekwill” și-a deschis ușile pentru prima dată la Chișinău. \nDe la crearea sa\, „Tekwill” a dezvoltat o rețea vastă pentru colaborare între reprezentanții sectorului de afaceri\, învățământului și donatorilor internaționali\, oferind diverse programe pentru dezvoltarea și susținerea antreprenoriatului\, dar și de pregătire a forței de muncă. S-a angajat să alinieze domeniul la cerințele secolului 21\, iar astăzi reprezintă unul dintre cele mai mari huburi IT din Europa de Sud-Est – un spațiu în care oamenii se conectează la idei\, resurse\, știință și industrie\, pentru a spori excelența în acest domeniu. \n \nFiecare dintre programele lansate sub egida „Tekwill” și-a propus să aducă tinerii din țara noastră cu un pas mai aproape de viitorul dorit\, ajutându-i să-și descopere și să-și valorifice talentele\, să dea viață visurilor și să își construiască o carieră în țară. Iar aceste scopuri nu trebuie să se oprească\, indiferent de situația de criză prin care trece Republica Moldova astăzi. \nStăm acasă! Învățăm de la distanță! \nTekwill s-a aliniat demersului autorităților și limitează accesul fizic în incinta instituției\, pentru a preveni răspândirea Covid-19. În același timp\, a adaptat pentru online programele sale precum Tekwill Academy Kids\, Tekwill Academy\, chiar și unele acțiuni dedicate antreprenoriatului\, pentru a putea fi accesate de la distanță. \nAna Chirița\, directoarea Proiectului TEKWILL: „Suntem îngrijorați de imposibilitatea frecventării orelor de către elevii din toată țara și vrem să identificăm soluții reale pentru ca procesul educațional să fie unul continuu. Ne dorim să fim un partener de încredere pentru societatea noastră în aceste zile\, de aceea am creat un grup de inițiativă – lideri din comunitate\, profesori\, specialiști IT ș.a – pentru a identifica soluții și a oferi educație de calitate fiecărui elev\, acasă la el. Le mulțumesc tuturor pentru că au dat dovadă de responsabilitate și operativitate\, doar așa putem identifica soluții viabile.” \nÎn rezultatul discuțiilor au fost identificate mai multe soluții care ar putea ajuta elevii din Moldova să continue să învețe\, în condițiile suspendării procesului educațional. \n\nLa etapa inițială vor fi elaborate diverse tutoriale video și lecții practice destinate profesorilor\, care au ca scop să-i ghideze în procesul de predare online și să le ofere asistență\, pentru ca procesul educațional să continue.\n\n  \n\nGoogle Classroom este un instrument gratuit\, care este folosit pentru e-learning pe scară internațională și poate fi utilizat și în țara noastră. Această platformă funcționează ca o clasă virtuală\, care permite inclusiv interacțiunea dintre profesori și elevi. Există și soluții locale\, precum studii.md ș.a.\n\n  \n\nTekwill va lucra într-o strânsă colaborare cu profesorii\, în special cei care deja utilizează soluții inovatoare\, făcând schimb de bune practici\, întrucât expertiza lor este foarte valoroasă în integrarea noilor soluții în procesul de studiu.\n\n  \n\nPentru profesorii care vor să își îmbunătățească abilitățile de utilizare și predare prin intermediul Google Classroom\, echipa Tekwill va pregăti o serie de tutoriale care să le vină în ajutor.\n\n  \n\nÎn următoarele zile vor fi elaborate și înregistrate lecții video pentru a asigura însușirea și pregătirea pentru disciplinele STEM\, la care urmează să se susțină bacalaureatul. Echipa ATIC/Tekwill propune elaborarea și înregistrarea a câte 20-30 de lecții video pentru fiecare disciplină STEM. Lecțiile video vor acoperi tematicile necesare pentru pregătirea completă de BAC\, cu o durată de la 30 min la 1h. A fost identificată o echipă de profesori care este dispusă să se implice în acest sens\, pentru următoarele discipline: fizică\, biologie\, chimie\, geografie. Și pentru treapta gimnazială vor fi elaborate materiale didactice în format video\, iar elevii vor putea studia astfel matematica și informatică.\n\n  \n\nAlături de lecțiile video elaborate de Tekwill vor fi colectate și alte materiale didactice elaborate de alți profesioniști (AGIRoMd\, studii.md\, Universitatea Tehnică a Moldovei etc.)\, care reprezintă un suport util pentru predarea disciplinelor la distanță.\n\nMaterialele vor putea fi plasate pe o pagină dedicată\, care este în curs de elaborare de către specialistul în IT și activistul civic\, Vitalie Eșanu. \nProiectul TEKWILL îndeamnă: „Stați acasă! Educația online este inovativă și captivantă!” \nProiectul TEKWILL este implementat de Asociația Națională a Companiilor din Domeniul TIC cu susținerea financiară a Agenției Statelor Unite pentru Dezvoltare Internațională și a Suediei.

DESCRIPTION:On February 28th\, 2020 the second edition of the FinTech Moldova Conference gathered regulators\, banks\, FinTech Startups\, and investors from Moldova as well as the United Kingdom\, Romania\, Czech Republic\, Poland\, and Ukraine to exchange the best practices and initiatives from the market. This year’s main topic was “Open Banking: From Regulation to Reality”\, as specialists in Open Banking\, Cyber Security\, Business Intelligence\, Investments\, and Startup Ecosystems shared their knowledge with over 330 participants. This conference\, #FMC20\, was the main FinTech event of the year for the Republic of Moldova.\n\n \n\n\n“The 2nd edition of the Fintech Moldova Conference stands out as the best #fintech conference I have taken part in\, from logistics to the number of attendants (over 300 tickets sold!). This is a high bar they have set for themselves\, but especially for their neighbours in Romania.” — Tudor Andrei Stanciu\, Interim President at Romanian Fintech Association\n\nThe FinTech Moldova Conference 2020 represented one of the first steps towards a FinTech ecosystem in Moldova and in the region. Besides great content\, the event provided the opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue with national and international FinTech leaders and experts.\n\nThe conference started out with presentations about the FinTech overview in Moldova and neighbouring countries Romania\, Ukraine and Russia\, delivered by field experts Natalia Turcan Munteanu (National Bank of Moldova)\, Tudor Stanciu (Fintech Association Romania)\, Rostyslav Dyuk (Fintech Association Ukraine)\, and Nikita Lomov (Fintech Association Russia). Another group of presentations continued with Global Regulatory Trends in Open Banking and Open Data\, international use cases and opportunities\, as well as about methods of tracking and preventing cyber-threat and fraud\, presented by Gavin Littlejohn\, (FDATA)\, Lisa Gutu (Salt Edge Inc.)\, Yuriy Bathin (Mastercard Ukraine)\, Malgorzata Domogala (Mastercard Europe) and Pavel Krylov (Group IB). The presentations concluded with a discussion panel “Building FinTech Ecosystems in Ukraine\, Romania\, Moldova\, and Russia” as another group of presentations explored the potential of the FinTech ecosystem through presented by various entrepreneurs Mohamed Dafea (Bofin)\, Cosmin Curticapean (iFactor)\, Alexander Shulov (AC Technologies)\, and Tudor Darie (Fagura)\, which then concluded with another panel\, moderated by Gavin Littlejohn (FDATA).\n\nThe conference resumed with a discussion panel about “What are investors looking for in Fintech startups?” and moderated by Ghela Boskovich (FDATA).
