DESCRIPTION:The talent\, potential\, and aspirations of young people in the Republic of Moldova are premises that allow the development of dynamic and profitable sectors of the national economy. That is why TEKWILL focuses its efforts on encouraging entrepreneurship among the new generations. In the 2021-2022 school year\, with the support of the project in 4 universities in Chisinau\, Balti\, Comrat\, and Cahul that teach IT or related fields\, entrepreneurship will be taught – one of the investment directions of the project\, with the support of USAID development partners and Sweden. \nAna Chirița\, director of the TEKWILL project: “We consider that the promotion of the entrepreneurial culture in our country can generate positive results if it is correlated with the education of young people and the development of related skills. The integration of a dedicated course in the field is more than a necessity for future specialists\, as Moldovan universities face various challenges related to change or performance\, etc. We want students to learn more about entrepreneurship\, to bring about changing visions\, knowledge\, and skills\, to support the development of a digital economy. Nowadays\, future professionals need to acquire new skills in order to be more competitive on the labor market and to generate innovative and useful products for society\, with the help of information technologies. ”\nFrom October this year\, 40 students will benefit from the knowledge and entrepreneurial guidance within the project. The course is implemented in order to be integrated into the basic educational program and certified in the bachelor’s degree. \nThe pilot project will be implemented in partnership with the Technical University of Moldova.\nIn order to better meet the expectations of students’ knowledge of entrepreneurship\, a pilot edition of the program will be launched within the Startup Academy. It will take place in partnership with the Technical University of Moldova\, in March-May this year. The course will be attended by 10 students from the Faculty of Computers\, Informatics and Microelectronics\, but also from the Faculty of Economics and Business Engineering. \nViorel Bostan\, Rector of TUM: “The labor market is constantly changing\, and future employees will have to face the new challenges with flying colors. That is why young people need to acquire more skills and abilities in order to be successful in a highly competitive environment. Promoting entrepreneurship in education as one of the key competencies will encourage young people to become more enterprising\, find innovative solutions to societal problems and create products that add value to the country’s socio-economic development. ” \nWhat will students learn?\nThe program includes an extensive course on technological business development and ecosystem trends. Mentors specialized in the fields of IT\, business and startups will guide participations in creating a business from idea to application. During this time\, students will be familiar with strategic management\, financial planning\, marketing\, pitch\, attracting investors\, etc. The course will be taught in English\, and the educational process will involve a mixed approach of working in groups\, but also individually\, young people being stimulated to study and apply knowledge outside the classroom. Participants will be selected based on the idea generated\, the level of knowledge of English and the motivation to participate in the program. Those wishing to register for the pilot project must complete the application form HERE during February. \n“Startup Academy” part of the Startup Moldova program is an educational initiative dedicated to current and potential entrepreneurs\, which is developed within the TEKWILL Project\, with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Sweden. SUMMARY:EU4MOLDOVA: STARTUP CITY CAHUL ADUCE PROFESIILE VIITORULUI MAI APROAPE DE ELEVII DIN REGIUNE
DESCRIPTION:Cel mai complex program online de cursuri extra curriculare – „Tekwill în fiecare școală” (TiFS) – se extinde și la sudul țării! Anul trecut\, în misiunea sa de a aduce profesiile viitorului mai aproape de elevi și de profesori\, s-a alăturat și Uniunea Europeană prin asistența financiară acordată în cadrul proiectului „Eu4Moldova:Startup City Cahul”\, în parteneriat cu Suedia și implementat de ATIC. Astfel\, in 2021\, cca 46 de școli din regiunea Cahul sunt așteptate să se înscrie la program. Până va fi dat startul lecțiilor\, pedagogii vor beneficia de un program de formare pentru a învăța cum să integreze eficient metode inovative de predare și învățare în clasă\, la cursurile TiFS. Mai multe cadre didactice au fost invitate la un eveniment de prezentare live a inițiativei „Tekwill în fiecare școală” la Cahul\, la care au participat membrii echipei de implementare și actualii profesori beneficiari ai programului din regiunea de sud a Moldovei. \n \n  \n  \n„Suntem foarte mândri că actualmente\, peste 5\,327 de elevi din toată țara participă la cursurile programului pilot. Scopul nostru este ca să dezvoltăm și să oferim posibilitatea elevilor din toată țara să beneficieze de educație digitală. Ne dorim să facilităm accesul elevilor din regiuni spre studierea aprofundată și actualizată a sectorului TIC\, prin promovarea diferitor inițiative educaționale necesare dezvoltării industriei tehnologice. Mai mult ca atât\, „Tekwill în fiecare școală” este o modalitate eficientă de a-i ajuta să înțeleagă în viitor ce profesie își doresc să îmbrățișeze”\, a afirmat Tatiana Alexeev\, manageră a proiectului „Tekwill în fiecare școală”. \n  \n  \n\n \n  \nExperiențele profesorilor instruiți în cadrul proiectului pilot \nAnul trecut\, în cadrul proiectului pilot „Tekwill în fiecare școală”\, peste 216 profesori au participat la sesiunile de training dezvoltate cu ajutorul unor mentori cu experiență în domeniu. Printre ei\, s-au aflat și câțiva pedagogi din instituțiile din Cahul\, care au împărtășit din experiența lor în program cu cei cca 50 de colegi din școlile din regiune. \n  \n„Ne-am convins deja că tinerii au nevoie de abilități tehnologice\, iar scopul nostru a fost să-i îndrumăm să canalizeze aceste competențe în domenii mai avansate. Cursul pe care l-am predat a fost „Proiectare și dezvoltare web”. Deși de la început aveam temeri că va fi complicat și ne bătea gândul să renunțăm\, eu fiind profesoară de limba engleză și colega mea profesoară de biologie\, la finalul acestui curs\, am realizat ce experiență valoroasă am acumulat – am deprins alte metode de a colabora cu elevii\, am obținut competențe digitale. Elevii au devenit mult mai curioși să cerceteze ce se află în spatele website-urilor preferate. Aceste cursuri susțin și învățarea interdisciplinară\, ca elevii să poată face conexiuni cu situații din viața reală și să utilizeze tehnologia în scopuri constructive\, pentru a-și dezvolta independența în gândire și acțiune.”\, a menționat Nina Fridjoi\, profesoară la LT „Mihai Sadoveanu”\, Giurgiulești. \n  \n \n  \n  \n„Când ne-am înregistrat pentru a lua parte la proiectul TiFS\, scopul nostru principal a fost să le oferim elevilor noștri ocazii favorabile de învățare și perfecționare a abilităților digitale\, dar nu ne-am imaginat că această inițiativă va avea un impact atât de mare asupra activității noastre didactice. Ne-am asumat responsabilitatea de a aduce o schimbare în sistemul de învățământ în școala noastră\, iar participarea la proiect a fost o provocare pentru noi. În urma acestui curs\, am dobândit nu doar cunoștințe valoroase\, dar și siguranța că oricând aș putea să mă reprofilez spre o carieră în IT. De aceea\, recomand cu încredere tuturor dascălilor să se alăture echipei „Tekwill în fiecare școală” și vor descoperi o comoară educațională la un click distanță!”\, a spus Elizaveta Arabaji\, profesoară la LT „Mihai Sadoveanu”\, Giurgiulești. \n  \n  \nCum participi la program? \nPentru a fi parte a proiectului „Tekwill în fiecare școală”\, administrațiile trebuie să-și înregistreze instituțiile la program. Ulterior\, cadrele didactice participă la un program de formare la care studiază diverse practici\, pe care urmează să le aplice în predarea disciplinelor în cadrul orelor opționale. Pedagogii beneficiază și de expertiza unui mentor pe tot parcursul anului de studiu\, dacă au anumite neclarități. \nÎn curând\, va fi dat start unui nou program de instruire pentru profesori\, iar doritorii sunt așteptați să se înscrie la https://tekwill.online/form/application-for-school-registrat până pe data de 22 februarie 2021. \nCe conține programul „Tekwill în fiecare școală”? \n„Tekwill în fiecare școală” este un program complex de cursuri extra-curriculare online care a fost lansat în anul precedent. Lecțiile sunt studiate în mod opțional în cadrul disciplinelor școlare pe platforma www.tekwill.online.md \nConținutul este disponibil în limbile română și rusă\, iar elevii pot studia în baza unei curricule divizată în patru domenii: \n\nInteligența Artificială (cursurile: Programarea Agloritmilor in C/C++\, Inteligența Aritificială)\nDezvoltare Software (cursurile: Proiectarea și Dezvoltarea Web\, Proiectarea și Dezvoltarea Aplicațiilor Mobile)\nIndustrie Creativă (cursurile: Design Grafic\, Video Storytelling)\nLeadership Antreprenorial (cursurile: Inteligenta Emoțională\, Antreprenoriat).\n\nPrin studierea acestora\, școlarii și liceenii cu vârste cuprinse între 13 – 19 ani au posibilitatea de a-și dezvolta gândirea critică\, creativitatea\, competențele digitale\, aptitudinile și calitățile\, dar și a-și îmbunătăți abilitățile de comunicare interpersonală. Timp de un an\, aceștia vor urma un curs din 34 de lecții cu un conținut digital interactiv\, iar la final – vor realiza un proiect practic în baza cunoștințelor obținute. \nÎn anul de învățământ 2021-2022\, peste 20.000 de elevi din toată țara vor studia opțional cursurile inovative\, iar cu ajutorul tehnologiilor informaționale vor beneficia în viitor de mai multe oportunități profesionale. \n \n  \nDespre „Tekwill în fiecare școală” \nDezvoltarea proiectului „Tekwill în fiecare școală” a fost posibilă prin mobilizarea eforturilor financiare ale sectorului privat și ale cetățenilor țării din Moldova sau diasporă (în cadrul campaniei de finanțare participativă a proiectului TwentyTu\, a cărui start a fost dat în 2018)\, precum și a partenerilor externi de dezvoltare – USAID Moldova\, Suedia\, EU4Moldova și PNUD Moldova. De asemenea\, proiectul este dezvoltat în colaborare cu Ministerului Educației\, Culturii și Cercetării. Angajamentul programului educațional inovativ este ca\, în următorii 10 ani\, toate liceele din țară să facă parte și să beneficieze de oportunitățile educaționale ale „Tekwill în fiecare școală”. Pe termen lung\, proiectul are misiunea de a pune în valoare capitalul uman al Republicii Moldova și de a crește o generație de oameni care să creeze acasă\, în Moldova\, produse și servicii care să răspundă provocărilor social-economice naționale și globale. \nMai multe despre „Tekwill în fiecare școală” AICI. \nDespre EU4Moldova: Startup City Cahul \n„Startup City Cahul” este o inițiativă care abordează dezvoltarea socio-economică durabilă a municipiului Cahul și a localităților învecinate\, care completează acoperirea regională a asistenței pentru dezvoltare acordată de Uniunea Europeană Republicii Moldova. Proiectul va sprijini în special dezvoltarea economică prin inovare\, antreprenoriat\, ocuparea forței de muncă pentru întreprinderile mici și mijlocii din afara capitalei\, precum și va oferi oportunități tinerilor și femeilor și fetelor în știință\, tehnologie\, inginerie și matematică (STEM). „Startup City Cahul” va înființa un centru regional de inovare și tehnologie în Cahul – centrul de inovație EU4Innovation – iar un grup larg de localnici vor deveni beneficiarii săi. Obiectivul centrului este de a avea un efect de stimulare în alte zone de dezvoltare ale orașului. \nUE investește 6\,8 milioane EUR în proiect\, care sunt canalizate prin intermediul Agenției Suedeze de Cooperare Internațională pentru Dezvoltare (Sida) și implementate de Asociația Moldovenească a Companiilor de Tehnologia Informației și Comunicațiilor (ATIC).

SUMMARY:BURSE ÎN DOMENIUL IT PENTRU LOCUITORII DIN REGIUNI
DESCRIPTION:Locuitorii din Bălți\, Cahul\, Comrat\, Ungheni\, Sângerei și Taraclia au acum mai multe oportunități pentru a studia domeniul IT. Așa cum proiectul TEKWILL și-a extins programele la nivel național\, o serie de cursuri sunt disponibile pentru cei din aceste regiuni ale țării. \nAstfel\, în cadrul Tekwill Academy\, 28 de candidați selectați prin concurs vor putea învăța mai multe specializări IT și vor beneficia de o acoperire a costurilor de studiu în proporție de 70%. Inițiativa educativă este implementată cu suportul financiar al USAID și al Suediei\, în cadrul proiectului „Dezvoltarea Centrului de Excelență în Domeniul TIC – Tekwill”. Proiectul are drept scop extinderea oportunităților de dezvoltare în regiuni și crearea premiselor pentru conectarea capitalului uman cu posibilitățile oferite de companiile IT locale. Cursurile urmează a fi desfășurate în perioada lunilor februarie-iulie 2021. \nMai multe informații și detalii despre cursurile disponibile din cadrul programului de burse pot fi consultate aici\, precum date referitor la costul studiilor si limba de instruire. \n  \nCine poate participa la concursul de burse Tekwill Academy? \nOricine se poate înscrie pentru a obține o bursă oferită de Tekwill Academy\, indiferent dacă sunt tineri studenți\, specialiști calificați sau persoane care nu au deloc studii în domeniul IT. Cu toate aceste\, există anumite criterii de eligibilitate\, pe care candidații trebuie să le respecte: \n\nVârsta: între 18-35 ani;\nStudii: liceale finalizate;\nReședința actuală: Bălți\, Cahul\, Ungheni\, Comrat\, Sângerei\, Taraclia;\nPosibilitatea de a acoperi 30% din costul integral al programului de studii;\nIntenția fermă de a aplica cunoștințele obținute în câmpul muncii.\n\n  \nCum aplici la bursa Tekwill Academy? \nPentru a se înregistra la concursul de burse\, candidații vor trebui să completeze un formular online\, și\, o dată cu aplicația lor\, să atașeze câteva acte ce confirmă identitatea persoanei. Bineînțeles\, este neapărat să furnizați un CV actualizat\, o scrisoare de motivație\, un certificat de la locul de muncă sau studii și o copie a buletinului de identitate cu fișa de însoțire. \n  \nTERMENUL LIMITA DE ÎNREGISTRARE \nCandidații eligibili sunt invitați să se înregistreze la programul de “Burse în domeniul IT”\, desfășurat în perioada 25.01.2021 – 30.03.2021. Termenul limită pentru înregistrare în program va constitui 7 zile calendaristice înainte de începerea cursului la care se depune cererea de participare. Întrebările referitor la programul de buse sunt acceptate doar in forma scrisa pe adresa de email academy@tekwill.md. \n  \nREGULAMENT PRIVIND PROGRAMUL DE BURSE | FORMULAR DE ÎNREGISTRARE \n  \nTekwill Academy este o inițiativă educațională care furnizează cursuri și instruiri tehnice. În perioada 2018 – 2020\, peste 150 de specialiști și-au certificat cunoștințele în domeniu. DESCRIPTION:Tekwill Academy a pregătit patru Learning Paths pe care le pot alege viitori participanți ale cursurilor în cazul în care doresc să devină angajați în domeniul IT în urma absolvirii acestora. Astfel parcurgerea unei opțiuni oferă oportunitatea de a obține și dezvolta cunoștințe și competențe ample în domeniu. \nPentru a beneficia de studii cât mai eficiente\, în continuare sunt prezentate diferite opțiuni de învățare\, formate din diferite combinări ale cursurilor Tekwill Academy. \n  \nLearning Path #1 – Express \nCombinarea studiilor express poate avea loc prin cinci modalități: \n\nDoriți să deveniți programator dar nu sunteți decis ce limbaj de programare vi se potrivește\, astfel aveți ocazia de a învăța Java și Python prin urmarea celor două cursuri Express\, iar la final să obțineți cunoștințe ale bazelor de date relaționale la cursul express de SQL.\nVă pregătiți pentru un job de Automation Tester prin a învăța bazele limbajului de programare Java\, bazele testării manuale software și bazele de date relaționale SQL.\n4. 5. Combinarea cursurilor Express – Java\, Python\, Manual Quality Assurance cu limbajul SQL vă ajută să vă pregătiți pentru un internship într-o companie IT.\n\n  \n \n  \nLearning Path #2 – Express & Extensive \nAcest Learning Path este pentru cei care doresc să combine cursuri de o durată scurtă cu cele lungi. Astfel participanții care au urmat un curs Express vor căpăta cunoștințe de bază pentru parcurgerea mai ușoară a unui curs Extensiv\, având deja o logică bine pusă la punct. \n\nÎn cadrul cursului expres se pun bazele limbajului de programare Java\, iar cursul de Java Fundamentals este o continuare ce te pregătește pentru un internship și certificare Oracle.\nÎn cadrul acestei opțiuni se urmărește aceeași logică ca și în opțiunea 1\, iar cursurile de baze de date SQL au ca scop de a vă pregăti pentru certificarea Oracle și un loc de muncă.\nSe însușește lucrul cu baze de date relaționale SQL ca apoi să urmați un curs de Java\, astfel se vor acumula cunoștințe pentru asimilarea mai ușoară a limbajului de programare.\nPython și Data Science\, la finalizarea cursului de Python veți cunoaște bazele acestui limbaj și veți avea destule cunoștințe de a participa la cel de Data Science.\nManual Quality Assurance – dezvoltați cunoștințe și competențe în urma cursului Express și Extensiv despre testarea software manuală\, acestea fiind necesare pentru obținerea un internship într-o companie IT.\nParcurgerea cursului expres de SQL și a cursului Extensiv de Manual Quality Assurance nu vă pregătește doar pentru un internship\, dar și pentru un job în domeniu.\nCunoașterea algoritmilor și structurilor de date\, dar și al bazelor Python sunt un început promițător pentru o carieră în IT.\n\n \n  \nLearning Path #3 – Extensive \nA treilea Learning Path este pentru cei care doresc să combine cursurile Extensive de lungă durată prin a cunoaște atât Algoritmii și Structurile de Date cât să cunoască și un limbaj de programare sau lucru cu bazele de date SQL. Aceste opțiuni au fost concepute pentru confortul participanților\, astfel ca Algoritmi și Structuri de Date să se desfășoare în weekend\, iar celelalte cursuri în timpul săptămânii. \nPrima treaptă: Cursul de Algoritmi și Structuri de Date pune bazele logicii programării ce facilitează învățarea oricărui limbaj de programare. Astfel scopul parcurgerii acestui curs este de a construi o logică solidă în programare ca orice participant să dețină o bază de competențe care l-ar ajută să se dezvolte ulterior în orice sector IT fără dificultăți. Astfel\, persoanele care dețin cunoștințe despre algoritmi\, sunt mult mai valoroși pe piața forței de muncă\, datorită faptului că pot învăța sau adapta mult mai rapid la noi tehnologii. Din acest considerent\, acest curs este prima treaptă în acest Learning Path. \nA doua treaptă: Are loc procesul de specializare a participantului. Deja cu un bagaj de cunoștințe despre algoritmi și structuri de date\, acesta poate învăța limbajele de programare Java și C#\, să lucreze cu bazele de date relaționale SQL și să se inițieze în domeniul de Data Science. \n  \n \n  \nLearning Path #4 – Super Combo \nAl patrulea Learning Path a fost conceput astfel\, ca în urma parcurgerii celor 3 cursuri\, participanții să fie pregătiți pentru primul job în IT și să dețină un spectru de cunoștințe din domenii precum: matematica\, statistica\, programare\, algoritmi\, baze de date și tot ce îi va pregăti pentru a începe o carieră IT cu piciorul drept. Programarea are două elemente importante fără de care ideile unui programator nu ar putea fi puse în practică: algoritmii și bazele de date. \nPrima treaptă: Pui bazele logicii programării prin învățarea algoritmilor\, lucru ce facilitează învățarea oricărui limbaj de programare. \nA doua treaptă: Vei învăța într-o perioadă scurtă de timp lucru cu bazele de date la cursul de SQL Express și astfel vei deveni mult mai valoros pe piața forței de muncă. DESCRIPTION:Proiectul „Women in Online Work (WOW)”: Noi oportunități online pentru fete și femei \n  \nSărbătorile de iarnă vin cu daruri generoase și noi oportunități pentru anul 2021 pentru fetele și femeile din regiuni care-și doresc să lucreze online. \nProiectul „Women in Online Work (WOW)” își propune să instruiască și să ghideze femeile pentru ca să poată presta servicii online prin intermediul platformelor internaționale de angajare pentru liberi profesioniști. Inițiativa este lansată cu susținerea Biroului de cooperare al Elveției în cadrul Proiectului „Optim – Oportunități prin Tehnologii și Inovație în Moldova”\, implementat de Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation în parteneriat cu Camera de Comerț și industrie a Republicii Moldova\, și cu sprijinul Agenției Statelor Unite pentru Dezvoltare și al Suediei în cadrul Proiectului TEKWILL. \n„Women in Online Work (WOW)” va cuprinde mai multe cursuri și un eveniment online care au ca scop încurajarea femeilor de a-și dezvolta abilitățile necesare pentru munca în mediul digital. \nAstfel\, inițiativa se va desfășura în mai multe etape: \nEtapa I va cuprinde o conferință de instruire în carieră pentru 200 femei. La această etapă\, participantele vor afla despre noile tendințe din câmpul muncii și vor fi ghidate să-și pregătească portofoliului profesional pe platforme online\, să-și elaboreze un CV calitativ\, să-și mențină pagina de pe rețele sociale și platformele de angajare pentru liberi profesioniști. \nEtapa II va include un curs practic gratuit pentru dezvoltarea abilităților necesare pentru unele dintre cele mai solicitate profesii din online: Software Tester\, Social Media Management\, Design Grafic. Astfel\, timp de 3 luni\, 50 de participante vor lua parte la traininguri de dezvoltare și abilitare pentru a învăța practicile de lucru utilizate de platformele internaționale de angajare. \nEtapa III va consta într-o sesiune de practică\, sub forma unui mentorat asistat pentru cele 50 participante. In 2020\, Tekwill has been a major point in attracting startups and other stakeholders to Moldova through its programs\, expanding and promoting ICT education and entrepreneurship nationwide\, as well as other relevant activities for the ICT sector. \n \nTEKWILL IN EVERY SCHOOL\nThe Tekwill Project is contributing to harnessing Moldova’s untapped human capital and helping to grow a young and innovative generation of software engineers\, IT developers\, and creative professionals that will meet future social challenges nationwide and globally. In 2020\, Tekwill launched the most complex program of extracurricular classes that provided free IT-related education to increase the interest of school students aged 13-19 from various regions of the country in choosing a career in ICT. \n \nTEKWILL ACADEMY\nBeing driven by digitalization overall\, during 2020\, Tekwill’s major efforts adjusted with a quick transition in developing programs for an online format to ensure the educational initiatives would continue. For example\, Tekwill Academy adapted the content of the courses to the new format quickly so people around the country were able to access them wherever they were. Thus Tekwill Academy strengthened workforce development at the national level. \n \nSTARTUP MOLDOVA\nIn 2020\, in order to reduce the gap and encourage the development of startups based on IT\, Tekwill aligned its activities with international trends and implemented programs dedicated to growing and supporting startup businesses. One of these programs is known as the Startup Moldova National Program. It’s an initiative that gives young people with innovative ideas access to educational programs\, infrastructure\, consulting\, mentoring\, opportunities to connect to international events and competitions\, as well as attracting funding sources. \n \nMOLDOVA STARTUP WEEK\nThe Tekwill project engaged Moldovan communities to build the startup ecosystem of the country by supporting the development of young entrepreneurs and creating numerous opportunities for them to succeed. Under the umbrella of the biggest event dedicated to local startups\, Moldova Startup Week\, it connected more than 1\,050 people interested in tech entrepreneurship. The event facilitated the maintenance of constructive dialogue for the development of the economy based on technology and innovation\, the application of international trends\, and the creation of opportunities for local startups. \n \nENGAGING THE PRIVATE SECTOR\nIn 2020 the IT sector has proven to be game-changing for many other sectors such as education\, agriculture\, financial services\, health\, e-commerce\, etc. Tekwill has engaged with the private sector to support non-IT industries or the public sector to embrace digitalization. Selected under an open call\, ten IT companies committed to expanding their products and services throughout regions of Moldova to help them grow by offering options such as a career in ICT via educational services\, providing IoT solutions for agriculture\, developing new e-commerce services to decrease the cash in the economy\, bringing the diaspora closer to Moldovans\, or supporting women gaining digital skills. \n \nMERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR\n2020 was a challenging year\, but it brought us together – stronger and more powerful to continue our mission and change the world. DESCRIPTION:Indiferent de cunoștințele și experiența de care dispune fiecare dintre noi în diferite domenii\, există o serie de competențe-cheie care ne pot ajuta să ne reorientăm și să evoluăm profesional. Sectorul IT și digitalizarea reconfigurează multe industrii\, de aceea\, competențele tehnice devin la fel de necesare pentru un avantaj competitiv pe piața muncii. Astfel\, actualii/actualele și viitorii/viitoarele angajați și angajatele trebuie să fie pregătiți pentru toate aceste schimbări și să includă\, de pe acum\, în lista abilităților profesionale și pe cele digitale. \nPotrivit unui raport al Forumului Economic Mondial\, viitorul forței de muncă a sosit deja\, iar multe companii și organizații sunt pregătiți să digitalizeze procesele de lucru\, pentru o mai mare productivitate. \nPentru a oferi educație\, sprijin pe plan profesional pentru a fi competitive pe piața muncii tuturor fetelor și femeilor\, interesate de domeniul IT\, Asociația Națională a Companiilor din Domeniul TIC cu suportul UN Women (Entitatea Naţiunilor Unite pentru Egalitatea de Gen şi Abilitarea Femeilor) și cu sprijinul financiar al Suediei\, în cadrul Proiectului „Abilitarea femeilor în domeniul tehnologiilor” au lansat un curs complet de instruire în calitate de Front End Developer. \nObiectivul principal al proiectului este promovarea egalității de gen prin intermediul tehnologiilor informației și comunicațiilor și sensibilizare asupra faptului că tehnologiile sunt instrumente ce permit crearea unei societăți în care femeile și bărbații pot contribui și participa în mod substanțial și în egală măsură. Acțiunile realizate în cadrul proiectului vin să ofere fetelor și femeilor din Moldova susținerea pentru a-și valorifica plenar potențialul și vocația și a se afirma în calitate de profesioniste\, lidere sau antreprenoare. \nValeria Guranda are 20 de ani și este studentă la Universitatea Tehnică din Moldova\, facultatea Calculatoare\, Informatică și Microelectronică. Cochetarea sa cu domeniul IT a început din liceu\, de la lecțiile de informatică\, când studia limbajele de programare. Din dorința de a fi parte din schimbare și de a participa la progres\, a decis să urmeze studiile în domeniul IT. \nValeria Guranda\, beneficiară a cursului Front End Developer: „Înainte de a depune actele la universitate\, mă gândeam să studiez medicina. În ultimul moment am decis să aplic la IT și\, după doi ani\, pot spune că am luat o decizie corectă. Această industrie mă fascinează în fiecare zi\, redescoperind-o pe ea\, de fapt\, mă redescopăr pe mine. Foarte mult mă pasionează codurile și design-ul\, motiv pentru care încă nu am decis spre care specializare voi face o carieră.” \nCursurile în IT\, un set de competențe necesare pentru orientare profesională \nSpre finalul cursului\, Valeria a reușit să creeze cap-coadă propriul site. Este mândră de realizarea sa și spune că datorită lecțiilor în viața ei au apărut noi oprtunități de dezvoltare atât personală\, cât și profesională. Lansarea portalului va fi posibilă după ce tânăra va studia și cursul de Back End Developer. Aceasta spune că diversitatea subiectelor și modalitatea de expunere a materialului în timpul lecțiilor au constituit o scară de acces spre o nouă lume\, dintr-o altă perspectivă\, mai complexă informațional. Setul de competențe acumulate la curs o vor ajuta să-și găsească mai ușor un job și să lanseze o carieră în IT. \n„La început\, terminologia mi-a părut dificilă. Partea teoretică am studiat-o cu multă plăcere pentru că lecțiile video nu erau lungi\, reveneam la ele ori de câte ori aveam necesitate\, repetam exercițiile și însușeam fiecare subiect. Ulterior\, accesibilitatea informațională de la partea practică m-a ajutat să asimilez și să planific etapele de realizare a site-ului pe care mi l-am dorit de mulți ani. Este vorba despre un site unde îmi voi promova un hobby personal. Lecțiile m-au ajutat\, de asemenea\, să am o viziune în programare\, pentru că până atunci nu puteam lucra cu partea de vizual” – spune Valeria. \nÎn ultimii 10 ani\, domeniul IT din Republica Moldova a ajuns la un nivel avansat de dezvoltare\, iar specialiștii și specialistele calificați sunt la mare căutare de către companiile de profil. În plus\, fiecare a doua companie conexă are nevoie de profesioniști în domeniu pentru o bună dezvoltare a proceselor de business. Aceasta este convinsă că tehnologiile informaționale nu mai sunt ale viitorului\, dar fac parte din prezent și trebuie să le acceptăm\, să le descoperim și să le permitem să ne ajute să facilităm și să găsim soluții inteligente pentru dezvoltare. \nValeria afirmă: „În câțiva ani\, multe procese pe care în prezent le realizăm manual vor fi automatizate\, iar specialiștii calificați și competenți în domeniu vor continua să fie căutați pe piața muncii. În plus\, va fi un avantaj pentru fiecare persoană să învețe și să cunoască mai multe din domeniul IT. Îmi doresc să finalizez cu succes studiile și să mă încadrez în câmpul muncii\, pentru că domeniul pe care îl studiez este unul actual\, solicitat\, interesant și plin de provocări.” \nDin iunie 2018 și până în prezent\, aproximativ 1000 de fete au absolvit cursurile de IT din cadrul proiectuluiv„Abilitarea femeilor în domeniul tehnologiilor”\, implementat de Asociația Națională a Companiilor din Domeniul TIC\, în colaborare cu UN Women (Entitatea Naţiunilor Unite pentru Egalitatea de Gen şi Abilitarea Femeilor) cu sprijinul financiar al Suediei.

DESCRIPTION:Anunțăm extinderea termenului limită de aplicare la program – 20 decembrie 2020. \nÎn data de 4 Decembrie 2020\, Asociația Națională a Companiilor din Domeniul TIC a lansat ediția a III-a a Programului ”Tekwill Ambassadors”\, o inițiativă prin care oportunitățile de dezvoltare vin mai aproape de toți cei interesați și le oferă susținerea și resursele necesare pentru a atinge performanța în domeniul Tehnologiei Informației și Comunicațiilor (TIC). Programul este realizat cu susținerea financiară din partea Agenției Statelor Unite pentru Dezvoltare Internațională (USAID) și Guvernului Suediei în cadrul proiectului ”Dezvoltarea Centrului de Excelență în Domeniul TIC Tekwill”. \nFormularul de aplicare: https://forms.gle/Nyd6KaHMZeHMAJLk9 \nÎn cadrul Programului vor fi susținute inițiativele și proiectele dedicate dezvoltării domeniul Tehnologiilor Informaționale prin acțiuni educaționale și de consolidare a antreprenoriatului. DESCRIPTION:Moldovenii din diasporă pot opera transferuri bănești sau își pot plăti servicii și facturi din țară cu ajutorul unei aplicații digitale. Vorbim despre soluția Paynet – un portofel virtual – care le permite utilizatorilor să transfere bani acasă cu comisioane mai mici\, să plătească facturile sau alte taxe online fără a se deplasa la bancă\, de acasă – în siguranță. Aplicația\, disponibilă deja pentru mai multe state ale lumii\, a fost dezvoltată de către compania Paynet cu susținerea TEKWILL în cadrul „Inițiativei de încurajare a implicării sectorului privat”\, proiect prin care cu suportul USAID și al Suediei sunt generate soluții de e-commerce utile societății\, dar și oportunități de atragere și pregătire a profesioniștilor în domeniul IT. \nDiaspora – sursă importantă de venit pentru moldovenii rămași acasă \nPotrivit Organizației Internaționale a Migrației\, peste 25% de familii din Republica Moldova primesc bani de la rudele aflate la muncă peste hotare\, iar aproape jumătate din acestea depind în totalitate de remitențe. În anul 2019\, remitențele personale au constituit 1\,3 miliarde de dolari. Mai mult de jumătate din totalul transferurilor provin din UE și Marea Britanie. În topul țărilor\, transferurile din Israel sunt cele mai consistente – 18\,3%\, urmat de Italia și Rusia\, cu puțin peste 14% fiecare. Experții susțin că este greu de estimat o cifră reală a sumei provenite din remitențe\, întrucât unii cetățeni încă preferă să transmită banii prin canale informale – microbuzele de rută\, prieteni\, vecini etc. În anul curent\, din cauza pandemiei care a sistat transporturile internaționale\, numărul persoanelor care au apelat la transferuri electronice s-a majorat. Pentru a îmbunătăți accesul diasporei la servicii de comerț online\, a fost dezvoltată o aplicație digitală\, care le permite moldovenilor din diasporă să efectueze operațiuni financiare oriunde s-ar afla\, direct de pe telefonul mobil. \nAplicație digitală pentru simplificarea procedurilor financiare \nPentru ca moldovenii să nu mai fie nevoiți să apeleze la plicuri transmise șoferilor sau să achite comisioanele mari pentru serviciile bancare\, dezvoltatorul aplicației a simplificat procedurile. Astfel\, utilizatorii acesteia se pot înregistra doar folosind numărul de telefon din țara în care se află. Tranzacțiile sunt securizate cu ajutorul unui cod-parolă de unică folosință\, ce este transmis prin SMS și fără introducerea căruia nu sunt confirmate operațiunile. La scurt timp de la lansare aplicația a fost descărcată de cca 90 de mii de moldoveni din diferite state: Moldova\, Italia\, Germania etc. Peste 5600 de conaționali din diasporă au devenit utilizatorii acesteia\, iar cca 100 de mii de lei au fost transferați prin intermediul ei. \nCălin Gryadcenco\, director executiv Paynet: „Ideea din spatele aplicației paynet.md constă în crearea unui portofel electronic\, în care se stochează informațiile despre cardurile bancare ale utilizatorilor\, iar orice operațiune financiară devine mai ușor și mai rapid de întreprins. Folosind aplicația\, moldovenii aflați oriunde în lume\, pot achita facturi telefonice\, servicii comunale\, internet și televiziune\, produse de frumusețe și sănătate\, credite sau taxe la stat etc. Nu e nevoie să plece la bancă\, să stea la cozi. Acum ei pot face orice operațiune de acasă\, în siguranță. Până acum\, toate tranzacțiile înregistrate au fost de succes\, iar noi ne-am angajat să ajustăm opțiunile constant\, pentru ca toți utilizatorii să se bucure de o experiență plăcută.” \n \n  \nAplicația este una din cele 10 inițiative private susținute în cadrul „Inițiativei de încurajare a implicării sectorului privat” de către TEKWILL cu suportul USAID și al Suediei. Suportul financiar de până la 25.000 USD a fost disponibil companiilor din domeniul IT\, acoperind în jur de 50% din întregul cost al inițiativei. De acest suport au beneficiat cei care au demonstrat că soluțiile lor pot produce impact asupra pieței\, precum și că dețin un potențial adecvat al echipei de implementare. Inițiativa vine să reconfirme unul dintre angajamentele strategice ale proiectului – de a contribui la digitalizarea societății\, dar și la majorarea numărului de specialiști în domeniu\, creșterea calității capitalului uman și progresului industriei IT în general. \nAna Chirița\, directoarea proiectului TEKWILL: „Plățile online devin din ce în ce mai populare printre utilizatori\, mai ales în perioada pandemiei de COVID-19. Până în 2024\, se estimează că volumul plăților globale efectuate prin platforme online va crește la 6 trilioane de dolari. Perioadele recente de distanțare socială nu au făcut decât să accelereze această dezvoltare și să confirme tendințele internaționale. Datorită inovațiilor și utilizării adecvate a platformelor digitale\, tehnologia financiară poate fi cheia gestionării cu succes a banilor. Or\, asta ne-am propus și noi la TEKWILL\, să încurajăm și să susținem digitalizarea cât mai multor activități prin încurajarea sectorului privat și susținerea gândirii inovative pentru creare de soluții utile.” \nTEKWILL – revoluția începe! \nInițiativa de încurajare a implicării sectorului privat” este dezvoltată în cadrul Proiectului TEKWILL\, implementat de Asociația Națională a Companiilor din Domeniul TIC cu susținerea financiară a Agenției Statelor Unite pentru Dezvoltare Internațională (USAID) și a Suediei. Tekwill a fost creat în anul 2017 ca Centru de Excelență al sectorului ICT din Moldova\, având drept scop principal alinierea domeniului la cerințele secolului 21. Pentru a continua să contribuie la creșterea competitivității industriei IT și a altor sectoare strategice ale economiei\, centrul și-a extins domeniile actuale de activitate\, devenind în 2019 un proiect complex la nivel național. Obiectivul de bază a Proiectului TEKWILL\, în calitatea sa de platformă dedicată progresului sectorului IT\, este de a asigura un impact major asupra dezvoltării economice a țării prin îmbunătățirea capacităților antreprenoriale și educaționale ale membrilor societății\, dar și a potențialului de cercetare și dezvoltare al instituțiilor de învățământ superior\, în conformitate cu cererea de pe piața IT.

DESCRIPTION:Peste 1050 de participanți din țară și de peste hotare\, 64 de speakeri de top\, 36 de evenimente dedicate startup-urilor locale. Sunt totalurile Moldova Startup Week 2020\, care s-a dovedit a fi o platformă eficientă pentru crearea unor experiențe pline de oportunități pentru antreprenorii care gândesc inovativ din țara noastră. Interesul pentru eveniment a depășit hotarele țării\, iar peste 20 de mii de internauți au fost conectați online\, inclusiv din Irlanda\, România\, Germania\, Polonia și Belarus. \n„Moldova Startup Week 2020” a dat tonul tendințelor globale a antreprenoriatului bazat pe inovații și a conectat la aceeași comunitate experți\, mentori\, manageri\, parteneri internaționali\, entuziaști și pe cei mai buni fondatori de startup-uri. Evenimentul este o inițiativă TechStars și face parte din seria de proiecte dezvoltate de TEKWILL în cadrul Programului Național „Startup Moldova” cu susținerea USAID și Suedia. \n\nMoldova Statup Week a fost punctul de intersecție între estul și vestul antreprenoriatului global\, unde și-au dat întâlnire peste 60 de invitați speciali\, printre care antreprenori\, investitori\, mentori și reprezentanți ai companiilor tech internaționale și locale. Indubitabil\, calitatea evenimentului a fost dictată de nume mari din industria IT\, banking\, consultanță și marketing digital\, printre care s-au numărat Kamran Elahian (SUA)\, Moshe Porat (Israel)\, Antonio Nasuto (Republica Cehă) și Simon Zagaynov (China).\nMoldova Startup Week a facilitat dialogul constructiv pe tema dezvoltării economiei bazate pe tehnologie și inovație. În 2021 urmează să fie creată o structură unică\, responsabilă pentru managementul promovării și dezvoltării proiectelor în susținerea ecosistemului de startup-uri. Noua organizație va atrage resurse de finanțare și va contribui la consolidarea capacităților de absorbție a investițiilor de către startup-urile locale. De anul viitor\, noi inițiative de încurajare a antreprenoriatului vor fi dezvoltate și ca parte a Programului Național Startup Moldova. Acesta va fi centrat pe 3 direcții: dezvoltarea ecosistemului de startup-uri\, susținerea inițiativelor comunitare\, accelerarea de noi produse și startup-uri tech. (link la sesiune)\nMoldova Startup Week a fost un adevărat hub de inspirație pentru startup-urile locale\, care avut acces la conferințe și ateliere de lucru\, sesiuni de training pentru pitching\, informații despre potențialele surse de finanțare și programe de accelerare\, lansări de inițiative antreprenoriale\, schimb de experiență cu alte startup-uri din diferite domenii și întruniri cu potențialii investitori. De asemenea\, ei au colectat feedback și sugestii pentru a-și îmbunătăți ideea de afacere sau startup-ul. La eveniment\, 10 antreprenori la început de cale au fost conectați în mod direct cu potențialii investitori internaționali din România\, Cehia\, Rusia\, Estonia și Marea Britanie. La sesiunea „Demo Day”\, startup-urile locale au fost puse sub lumina reflectoarelor\, iar fondatorii s-au conectat și au discutat în mod direct cu potențialii investitori profesioniști\, interesați de susținerea afacerilor din Europa de Sud-Est\, printre care s-au numărat Levan Kavtaradze (Rusia)\, Jakub Stracina (Republica Cehă)\, Peter Parragh (Ungaria) și Stanislav Ivanov (Estonia). Celelalte startup-uri care nu au participat la „Demo Day” au putut explora și alte oportunități la eveniment. În cadrul „Matching Day”\, ei au beneficiat de discuții profesionale cu mentori din diverse domenii precum IT\, PR\, finanțe și marketing. La final de zi\, aceștia au fost invitați la o cină privată alături de investitori.\nLa „Moldova Startup Week” au fost cartografiate startup-urile locale pentru a asigura mai multă vizibilitate și expunere în comunitatea internațională\, în scopul creșterii vizibilității lor și atragerii mai ușoare a investițiilor externe. A fost stabilit un parteneriat cu Startup Genome – organizație ce consultă lideri internaționali și state\, în vederea elaborării politicilor de țară și a strategilor de inovare pentru creșterea economică. Astfel\, în anul următor\, și Republica Moldova va fi inclusă în raportul de analiză a ecosistemului de startup-uri realizat de Startup Genome. La eveniment a fost elaborată o hartă a startup-urilor locale pe care se regăsesc 64 de nume și pe care o puteți consulta.\nLipsa culturii antreprenoriale\, limitării accesului la finanțare dar și a experienței în gestionarea afacerilor bazate pe produse proprii\, sunt printre principalele impedimente în dezvoltarea cu succes a startup-urilor locale bazate pe tehnologii informaționale. Pentru a reduce acest decalaj\, în Republica Moldova sunt implementate mai multe programe dedicate creșterii și susținerii afacerilor de tip startup. Acestea creează diverse oportunități pentru dezvoltarea\, accelerarea\, atragerea și absorbția investițiilor\, pentru scalarea micilor afaceri și extinderea pe piața locală sau globală. 7 dintre aceste inițiative au fost prezentate la Moldova Startup Week 2020. (link la sesiune)\nMoldova Startup Week a fost o platformă de discuții pentru dezvoltarea afacerilor pe verticală în domenii cheie: FinTech\, EdTech\, AgTech\, HealthTech. Discuțiile participanților s-au axat pe proiecte în dezvoltare\, în baza cărora au fost identificate impedimentele și soluțiile necesare pentru dezvoltarea afacerilor pe verticală.\nMoldova Startup Week a creat punți de legătură între marile companii și startup-uri prin intermediul inovațiilor corporative\, un obiectiv urmărit și de programul Startup Moldova în 2021. Programul va aduna în palmares cele mai competitive startup-uri locale și va face apel către companiile moderne\, tehnologizate și flexibile pentru ca acestea să gestioneze împreună eforturile și acțiunile de inovare. Astfel\, companiile urmează a fi invitate la dezvoltarea strategiei și vor fi formate echipe de lucru. Urmează a fi organizate și câteva hackatoane industriale\, pentru a instrui managerii și angajații companiei despre modalități de a conlucra cu startup-uri și a facilita procesele. Până la sfârșitul anului 2021\, va fi lansat un accelerator pentru corporații care să faciliteze dezvoltarea cultura inovative bazată pe soluții antreprenoriale și altele.\nLa Moldova Startup Week am ales împreună cel mai activ ambasador al comunității și startup-ul cu cel mai mare impact. Aproximativ 5000 de oameni au participat la sesiunile de vot. La categoria „Cel mai activ ambasador al comunității startup din Moldova” a fost desemnat Traian Chivriga\, fondator XY Partners\, un antreprenor implicat în numeroase proiecte și inițiative\, care susține în mod eficient dezvoltarea ecosistemului local de startup-uri\, iar anul trecut a lansat un program de accelerare pentru startup-urile din Moldova – XY Accelerator powered by Tekwill. La categoria „Startup-ul cu cel mai mare impact” s-a evidențiat distinctiv startup-ul național Fagura – o bancă digitală\, unde oamenii își pot gestiona online toată activitatea financiară și care dezvoltă un marketplace de credite\, bazat pe tehnologie p2p lending.\n\nMoldova StartupWeek este un eveniment marca Techstars\, care are loc în peste 50 de țări din lume. „Tech stars Startup Week” este organizat de Startup Moldova cu sprijinul Agenției Statelor Unite pentru Dezvoltare Internațională (USAID) și a Suediei.

The association was founded to represent the industry on different policy and legislative issues and to facilitate the exchange of best-practices between members. ATIC’s mission is to protect and promote the Association members’ interests as well as facilitate a more favorable ICT business climate. \n  \nStarting 2014 ATIC has actively involved in the promotion with women in tech\, launching the annual “Women in ICT” event and supporting a series of initiatives like Technovation Challenge\, Rails Girls\, Girls Go IT. ATIC is committed to encourage young women and girls to consider and to pursue careers in IT\, change the perception over the role of women in the ICT sector and strengthen the local community of female IT Professionals through experience and knowledge sharing\, communication and interaction. \n  \nAbout Project “ Empowering Women in Tech”: \nEmpowering Women in Tech is a project implemented by ATIC with UN Women and Sweden Support since 2018. \nAs a key problem statement\, ATIC will focus to empower more girls to: \n\nChoose TECH and pursue STEM classes\nReceive quality education to define their future career\nBe part of a powerful Tech Women initiative together with other women who believe they can DO IT.\n\nThrough this project extension\, we intend to keep the project objective to mainstream a gender perspective and promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women through information and communication technologies. Also\, ATIC seeks to build awareness that information and communication technologies (ICTs) are tools that enable gender equality and women’s empowerment and are integral of the building societies\, in which both women and men can substantially contribute and participate. \n  \nAbout Tekwill Project: \nThe ICTEC Project started as a USAID program implemented by the National Association of ICT Companies (ATIC). In 2016\, the Government of Sweden joined the program and expanded the operations and content programs of Tekwill. The project is implemented as a private-public partnership (though Global Development Alliances instrument (GDA))\, between the Moldovan Government\, private industry\, academia and donors. The private partners include multinational companies\, IBM and Microsoft\, and also Moldovan Association of Private ICT Companies (ATIC) members that are local (operated) ICT companies. The private partners bring significant new resources\, ideas\, software\, technologies and development activities\, such as trainings\, practical assignments\, and mentorship. The private sector partners will have the chance to use the center to communicate with the university\, SMEs\, startups\, professionals and contribute to the curricula improvement answering the market needs\, as well as the improvement of the IT and entrepreneurship ecosystem that will lead to the economic growth of the country. The Government of Moldova supports this project at the highest level of the Prime Minister\, and the partners include Ministry of ICT\, Ministry of Education\, and E-Government Center. \n  \n1.1 Private Initiatives for Women Economic Empowerment in Tech \n  \nThe overarching goal of the Call is to support women driven private initiatives to further engage women freelancers and entrepreneurs based on a public call in Partnership with “Empowering Women in Tech” Project\, supported by Sweden and UN Women. ATIC seeks support 2-4 initiatives that are focused on capacity building of women driven initiatives aiming to build awareness that information and communication technologies (ICT) are the tools that enable gender equality and women’s empowerment and are integral of building societies\, in which both women and men can substantially contribute and participate. \n  \nAs part of the extension phase during November-December\, ATIC aims at supporting 2-4 initiatives promoting technologies\, using technologies\, being created\, and implemented by women for empowering women. \n  \nMain objectives for the request: \n  \n\nEngage women\, who are freelancers or entrepreneurs\, for developing and implementing initiatives\, products\, services\, or solutions aligned to the goal of the action\, with measurable and positive impact on the women inclusion in IT sector. The activity is focused on new solutions underpinned by private initiatives to engage women freelancers and entrepreneurs.\nMeasure and make visible the impact of the new or existing initiatives\, products\, services and solutions\, to support private sector engagement for sustainable development and attract more women in IT\, support the women entrepreneurship\, the women in IT sector growth\, the promotion of tech jobs for women\, other that may reach the provided goal.\nOther options may be taken into consideration with a clear definition and presentation of further women focus driven engagement at the convergence of IT technologies\n\n  \n1.2 Types of innovation projects supported \nThe preferred projects applying to the call are innovative initiatives aligned to the objectives stated above. The initiative should meet the following criteria: \n  \n\nExperience sharing initiatives including IT or IT technologies as a solution\nInnovative or existing on the market solutions with the possibility to be improved;\nSustainable within a period of time on the same market/country\, or exportable;\nFeasible (i.e. the solution does not require changes in the current legislation and could be anchored within the existing legal framework in certain period)\, there is evidence that prototype is technologically and economically feasible;\nCollaborative\, the activities should be tailored to other sectors (i.e. ICT and education\, IT and non-IT sectors\, support of entrepreneurship development\, other);\nWith measurable impact on the Women in Tech Industry/Women entrepreneurship;\nWomen driven and aiming at empowering women through technology\n\n  \nExamples of possible eligible applications and constraints that women could eventually focus on: \n\ntalent management and retention of skilled labor force;\naccess to finance for prototyping of new products and services that require collaborative innovation;\nexport promotion through innovative approaches;\nOther development\, promotion actions related to the initiative.\n\n  \nThe supported projects are in phase of innovation development and are based on a comprehensive business plan\, addressing the identified specific challenges\, and demonstrating high potential in terms of access to market and company/industry competitiveness and growth. The projects should already have previously developed innovative concept or prototype which demonstrates a clear technological and economic viability. \n  \nThe innovative concept should represent considerable novelty to the national or global market (e.g. new products\, processes\, services or market application). In innovation development projects\, the examples of financing activities may include prototyping\, upscaling\, design\, performance verification\, testing\, demonstration\, development of pilot lines\, validation for market replication\, IP protection and other activities aimed at bringing innovation idea (product\, process\, service\, etc.) to investment readiness and market introduction. \n  \n1.3 Amount of awards \n  \nThe awards’ fund will cover up to 240\,000 MDL (co-funded by UN Women under “Empowering Women in Tech” Project and USAID and Sweden under the Tekwill Project) or maximum eighty percent (20 %) of the total project cost. Such contribution will be equally divided between the initiatives of the applicants or depending on the specific requirements of the collaborative project. The action may decide to finance higher amounts in case of insufficient applications and high impact of the initiative proposed. \nCo-financing of at least twenty percent (20 %) of the total project budget is to be secured by the APPLICANT from their own investments or from other sources\, in cash or in-kind with respective proof of resources spent or provided. Acceptable co-financing includes women/companies own investment\, private investors\, loan financing or other private sector cash contributions and public financing or co-financing. The total amount of Awards cannot be increased during the Project. \n  \n1.4 Duration of the project \nThe project and the project budget must be designed so to be completed within 6 (six) months. However\, the project may be extended for a maximum of additional six (6) months\, under exceptional circumstances\, at the discretion of the Project team. \n  \n1.5 Eligible applicants \n  \nEligible applicants to the request are: \n\nwomen\, citizens of Moldova\, aged 18 or over\nproposed initiative must have an innovative tech-related idea\, early stage\, the sustainability of the application must be demonstrated\nestablished companies with min 51% women founders and women driven\nThe ability to provide the human resources (mentors\, coaches\, and program developers) with the programs to be implemented\n\n  \nThe Applicants and individual owners have not been convicted for crimes connected to economic activities. \n  \n2 Application process \n  \n2.1 Description of the application process \nThe selection process is designed according to the principles of merit\, transparency\, equality\, and rational use of funds. The innovation projects are selected against the clear eligibility and selection criteria\, of which latter are assessed by the experienced and independent evaluators. The applications which fulfill all eligibility criteria\, and which satisfy the selection criteria at most will be proposed for financing. They are in final phase assessed and ranked by the Independent Evaluation Committee and\, subject to the availability of funds. The best ranked applications that can fulfill legal requirements are offered to sign Award Agreement. \n  \n2.2 Instructions to the application process \n  \nAPPLICANT apply through the published open call: Concept Note\, Project Action Plan\, Budget. \n  \nWhile preparing the Application following rules apply: \n\nThere is only one Application per APPLICANT allowed;\nRe-submission of modified and improved Applications is not allowed;\nDeadlines for application is to be strictly respected;\nIn evaluation process\, only complete Applications will be accepted.\n\n  \n2.3 Project Application Documentation \n  \n2.3.1 Concept Note \n  \nIn the application stage\, the APPLICANT should submit a filled out defined form of Concept Note (attached\, Annex A)\, where the concept of the innovation project is shortly and concisely described\, Project plan\, Financial plan and the Curriculum Vitae\, where the company/entrepreneur/freelancer and the development team shortly presented. The Full Application has to be submitted sent via email to achirita@ict.md and ioriol@ict.md until the stated deadline. There is no standard form for the budget or CVs; companies/entrepreneurs/freelancers present an overview of the planned funds. \n  \nThe Project plan should contain the detailed elaboration of the concept\, analysis of the market\, impact analysis of the action versus the objectives of the call\, sustainability of the action\, if any\, envisaged development activities including staff engagement\, necessary material means and needed advisory services and trainings. The Projects should be tackling cross-cutting constraints for innovation\, human capital development\, entrepreneurship encouragement\, community support and proposing specific collaborative technical and conceptual innovative solutions to such constraint that would ultimately work towards increasing the use of ICT\, attracting more specialists to ICT\, other. \n  \nAlso\, the Project budget must be submitted predicting all project expenses during implementation phase of 6 months\, including both the award contribution\, as well as the Applicant’s matching funds. \nThe Project Plan in Full Application should encompass the following: \n\nClear evidence of so far achieved initial results or insights to be considered as collaborative innovative foundation for the Project;\nJustification of actions versus the objectives of the call;\nJustification that there is an existing market for the proposed collaborative innovation and that the strategy for expanding the existing concepts is feasible;\nRealistic plan of the Project activities so they can be implemented\, considering technological\, financial\, time and market constraints\, possibilities and opportunities;\nAssurance that the project includes all activities necessary to achieve program objectives. Evidence that the team has relevant experience in the industry sector and necessary knowledge and skills to implement the planned activities for the development of the new product/process/service and successful preparation for commercialization;\n\n  \nTogether with the Concept note\, Project Plan\, Financial plan\, with detailed and reasonable project expenses estimates that are intended exclusively for project purposes\, and CV’s of the members of the team should be submitted via online platform. \n  \nApplicants shall submit their application to participate and propose concepts until December 27\, 2020 via e-mail ioriol@ict.md cc achirita@ict.md. \nApplicants are responsible for ensuring that their expression of interests are received in accordance with the instructions stated herein. Late applications may be considered at the discretion of ATIC. \n  \nQuestions regarding the technical or administrative requirements of this Call for Expression of interest may be submitted no later than December 22\, 2020\, 18:00 local Chisinau time by email to ioriol@ict.md. Questions must be submitted in writing; phone calls will not be accepted. DESCRIPTION:  \nIana Maistruc:„Nu e târziu niciodată să studiezi domeniul IT\, dacă ai aspirații și dorința de a reuși” \nÎntr-o lume în care totul a devenit digitalizat\, competențele informatice sunt mai mult decât necesare. Cele 2300 de companii IT din Moldova au angajat deja 29 de mii de persoane și le oferă specialiștilor salarii competitive – cele mai mari de pe piață conform datelor BSN. Pe lângă remunerarea atractivă\, angajații din IT explorează și alte beneficii: asistență medicală suplimentară\, acces la activități de sport\, programe educaționale\, spații de muncă conform celor mai înalte standarde ș.a. Ca să-și dezvolte competențele solicitate pe piața muncii și să obțină calificările necesare evoluției în carieră\, specialiștii aflați la început de cale sau cei care își doresc să-și schimbe domeniul pentru o carieră în IT\, beneficiază de oportunități de formare și creștere profesională. Este și cazul Ianei Maistruc\, o tânără de 24 de ani din nordul țării\, care a decis să-și amplifice pasiunea pentru computere acumulând și alte abilități profesionale. A ales să cunoască mai multe despre „dezvoltarea web” la Bălți\, în cadrul unui program de instruire online desfășurat cu suportul Proiectului „Tekwill” în parteneriat cu Proiectul „Optim”. \nIana Maistruc: „Astăzi totul este legat de domeniul IT – o necesitate în viață” \n„Dezvoltarea web” este una dintre cele mai căutate specializări pe piața IT\, iar peste 10 ani s-ar putea să vorbim de tehnologii pe care azi nici nu le imaginăm. De această convingere a fost Iana Maistruc\, o tânără profesoară informatică aflată în căutare de mai multe cunoștințe\, atunci când a ales să se înroleze în program. Decizia ei a fost una hotărâtă\, bazată pe ceea ce își dorește și îi place\, însă și-a alocat timp și pentru analiza pieței\, pentru a vedea ce locuri de muncă sunt la mare căutare și care se potrivesc cel mai bine societății în care trăim. \nIana Maistruc\, participantă la program: „După ce am absolvit facultatea\, am început să predau informatica pentru clasele gimnaziale. Copiii sunt atrași de informatică și își doresc să devină programatori. E și de înțeles. În prezent\, totul este legat de domeniul IT – o necesitate în viață. Iată de ce\, am simțit și eu că a venit timpul să trec la altă etapă în carieră\, pe de o parte să-mi dezvolt abilitățile profesionale\, iar pe de alta – să învăț ceva nou studiind design-ul web. La universitate am studiat domeniul la general\, iar acum mai aprofundat și specific\, adaptat celor care vor să muncească în acest domeniu.” \nIana s-a lăsat ghidată de „puterea exemplului” prietenilor săi și a oportunităților de care beneficiază cei care studiază continuu\, dar și țin pasul cu dezvoltarea tehnologiilor informaționale. \nIana Maistruc\, participantă la program: „IT-ul este un domeniu actual\, profitabil și necesar celorlalte domenii conexe. Mulți dintre prietenii mei sunt specialiști IT\, care creează produse inovative și se mândresc cu realizările lor. Le place\, au salarii bune și este interesant. Îi cunosc\, știu ce posibilități le oferă industria tech și cât de mult investesc în autoeducație. Domeniul IT este accesibil tuturor celor care învață continuu. Avem egalitate de gen și nu contează dacă ești femeie sau bărbat\, sunt importante cunoștințele\, aspirațiile și dorințele tale. Dacă îți place domeniul și vrei să faci asta\, mergi înainte!” \nDomeniul IT – pistă de lansare în antreprenoriat \nCa urmare a expertizei obținute la cursuri și a certificatului de absolvire\, tânăra va putea să treacă la altă etapă profesională în calitate de pedagog\, domeniu la care deocamdată nu vrea să renunțe. Programul actualizat pe care l-a studiat la cursuri și-a propus să-l extindă și la nivelul lecțiilor din școală\, oferindu-le adolescenților informații noi din domeniul IT. Planurile sale de viitor însă nu se opresc aici. \nIana Maistruc\, participantă la program:„ La aceste cursuri\, informațiile pe care le-am învățat au fost structurate și adaptate astfel încât după absolvire să ne putem angaja direct într-o companie IT. În următorii ani\, pe lângă pedagogie\, îmi doresc să activez într-o companie de profil sau să predau cursuri de design web pentru tinerii din regiunea de nord a țării. Astfel\, voi putea ajuta adolescenții să facă pași mai hotărâți spre dezvoltarea unei cariere în domeniul tehnologiilor informaționale.” \nDespre Programul de Burse în IT \nCu scopul extinderii oportunităților de dezvoltare în regiuni și crearea premiselor pentru conectarea talentului și potențialului capitalului uman cu posibilitățile oferite de companiile IT locale\, Proiectul ”Tekwill” în parteneriat cu proiectul „Optim” au lansat Programul de Burse în IT. Inițiativa este realizată în regiunile Bălți și Cahul\, cu susținerea Biroului de cooperare al Elveției în cadrul Proiectului ”Optim – Oportunități prin Tehnologii și Inovație in Moldova‘’\, implementat de Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation în parteneriat cu Camera de Comerț și Industrie a Republicii Moldova\, precum și cu sprijinul Agenției Statelor Unite pentru Dezvoltare și Suediei în cadrul Proiectului ”Tekwill”. Participanții la program – Burse pentru programe de instruire în domeniul IT – s-au bucurat de acoperire financiară a taxelor de studii în proporție de 70%. DESCRIPTION:THIRD EDITION OF THE NATIONAL IT TRAINING PROGRAM FOR WOMEN \nThe third edition of the National IT Training Program for Women was launched to support gender equality and professional development of women in the IT sector in the Republic of Moldova. This year\, about 200 participants are expected to attend the program with the aspiration to a successful career in information technology\, a field that is innovative and on the rise. The program is implemented by the National Association of ICT Companies (ATIC) with the financial support of Sweden and UN Women (United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment) under the “Empowering Women in Technology” Project. \nThe participants of the third edition will be able to opt for one of three focuses of study: Front-End Development\, Software Testing\, or Digital Skills. They will have access to the entire library as soon as they register on the Codifun platform\, which will allow them to organize their day and set their learning time individually. In fact\, the study program was designed based on the Microlearning method which involves 15 minutes of maximum concentration on the material studied and the frequent use of the concept of Edutainment which allows testing knowledge through play. \nDominika Stojanoska\, UN Women Moldova Country Representative: “The IT field has become more accessible to anyone interested in gaining new skills\, regardless of gender. DESCRIPTION:More than 670 employees of Moldovan small and medium businesses (SMEs) have successfully graduated from the “Startup Academy” program\, a complex intensive training for entrepreneurs. \nThe current edition\, dedicated to SMEs\, delivered a series of courses in practical fields\, providing participants with the necessary knowledge to make their business visible in the digital environment\, helping them to continue their activity during a pandemic. For three months\, they studied topics such as digital solutions\, marketing tools\, and online sales & promotion. The approximate 455 participating SMEs benefited from direct expertise from mentors with experience in marketing\, communication\, IT\, logistics\, and human resources for the problems they face in the process of migrating their online business. The aim of the initiative was to train entrepreneurs so that at the end of the course they understand the mechanisms underlying the growth of a successful business. “Startup Academy” is organized within the Startup Moldova program “Digital Upgrade” and is a partnership between the TEKWILL Project and ODIMM. \n  \nAna Chirița\, TEKWILL project director: “Considering our niche of projects\, mostly IT\, this is a new opportunity to support SMEs in Moldova. We believe that information technologies are the basis for modernizing and facilitating trade\, including online. The aspects in which the economic agents needed an impetus or a package of knowledge to develop their business were offered through this methodically structured program to meet the expectations of entrepreneurs. The need for the program was pointed out to us by SME representatives in a study\, in which about 90% of participants mentioned that they need expertise and knowledge to become competitive as they do not have the ability to build sustainable online businesses. I am impressed by the successes of the participants\, by the large presence of those enrolled\, and this makes me believe that Startup Academy is a really useful program.” \nIulia Costin\, General Manager\, ODIMM: “We enjoy the partnership with TEKWILL and the Startup Moldova program and thank Sweden and USAID for their collaboration\, as their involvement strengthens economic prosperity in the Republic of Moldova. Through this project\, we aim to help companies in rural areas. This digitization tool serves like a test to see how well companies are prepared for a future national digital training program. Training means knowledge\, knowledge means a step forward – this is what Startup Academy means. The SME digitization tool is an efficient and fast solution and positive results are already crystallizing. We are working on processing the first wave of projects – 190 companies have submitted files to receive small grants and 230 – seek for large grants. In a short time\, we managed to form teams\, we managed to set budgets to answer the pressing questions of the business community\, especially SMEs. We are also happy to see public institutions that\, thanks to these initiatives\, have become more efficient and provide digital solutions. I want to thank the developers and partners for this program and wish everyone success in business\, since it has been enriched with useful knowledge.” \nThe course program was structured on two levels: intermediate and advanced. In the first stage\, entrepreneurs learned the importance of having a physical presence on online platforms and how to adapt a business to be as close as possible to customers. \n  \nDigitization of the private sector supported by USAID and Sweden \nThe special edition of the Startup Academy dedicated to entrepreneurs is organized within the Digital Upgrade initiative of the Startup Moldova program\, developed within the framework of the Tekwill project with the support of USAID and Sweden development partners\, together with ATIC\, ODIMM\, Moldova IT Park and UNDP. SUMMARY:MOLDOVA ICT INDUSTRY RECORDS SIGNIFICANT PROGRESS IN RECENT YEARS
DESCRIPTION:In recent years\, the ICT sector in Moldova has made remarkable progress. Smart technologies have increasingly entered the business environment and everyday life and private companies have been on the rise. The results have exceeded the forecasted 2018-2023 strategy for the development of the information technology industry and ecosystem for digital innovation. In one single year\, the sector’s turnover increased to $380 million\, which represents 70% of the 5-year estimate. There were considerable changes in terms of attracting human capital with the total number of IT professionals increasing by about 38%. This number is 13% higher than the total forecasted for the next 5 years. \nThe upward trend is also confirmed by the indicators/statistics of the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS)\, which shows that from 2015-2019 the IT industry tripled its sales revenue and along with the telecommunications sector accounted for 7.1% of the GDP. The success of the IT sector can be quantified in the number of jobs created\, accounting for over 29\,000 people who work in the field with the highest salaries on the market. \nRepresentative figures for the ICT sector\, 2019: \nAnnual sales revenues – 6.8 billion MDL ($ 395.135 M) \nContribution to national GDP – 7.1% \nThe volume of ICT exports – over 5 billion MDL ($290.540 M) \nThe volume of investments in computer services – MDL 2.6 billion ($151.081 M) \nEmployees in the ICT sector – 29\,600 people \nICT companies on the market – 2300 \nIT products and services – exported to over 30 countries \nNBS data shows that in the period referenced\, the IT industry recorded revenue of about 6.8 billion lei ($395.135 M)\, while the volume of exports of products and services exceeded the figure of 5 billion lei ($290.540 M). There are 2\,300 companies on the Moldovan market that export their IT products and services to over 30 countries around the world. Moldova is considered an attractive destination from a technological point of view\, both for small companies and for those with major investment potential. Thus\, in 2019 the number of ICT companies in Moldova increased by about 35%. The domestic IT market also offers favorable conditions for attracting foreign investors and is taking important steps to join the first-tier states of regional attractiveness. Among the competitive advantages of Moldova are the elimination of administrative barriers for foreign IT professionals\, tax facilities for employees in the sector\, a single tax of 7% of sales volume\, and the creation and launch of physical infrastructure of IT parks. Over 600 companies from 136 countries operate in the IT Park\, with 45% of these businesses registering within the past year. Private companies employ over 10\,000 people with an average salary of about 29\,000 lei per month under the conditions of the IT Park tax regime. The total turnover of resident companies according to IT Park statistics is 3.7 billion MDL ($215 M). The country’s capital remains the favorite destination of companies in the field. This year\, Chisinau was named the city of the year in Southeast Europe for supporting and developing the IT sector. The capital won the “Emerging City of the year in SEE” award\, ahead of cities such as Tbilisi and Sofia in one of the most important events in the field\, “CEE Business Services Summit and Awards 2020”\, held in Warsaw\, Poland. \n  \nInternational support for the development of the ICT sector \nThe increase of competitiveness and the progressive development of the sector in recent years has also taken place with the constant support of external financiers. Due to the development potential of the sector\, the development partners provided constant technical and financial assistance by supporting the private sector and entrepreneurship by creating IT parks and attracting investors. Among the top supporters of IT development in Moldova is the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)\, the first donor to recognize the potential of the Moldovan IT industry and provide assistance since 2005. Since then\, Moldova’s exports of IT services and products have increased 40 times. Sweden is also in the top 5 external donors for the Republic of Moldova with the IT sector being one of the areas it supports. In recent years USAID and Sweden have invested about $ 8.9 million in the Tekwill Project\, implemented by the National Association of ICT Companies (ATIC). Tekwill and ATIC have also attracted private and public investments of over $4 million to contribute to the development of the IT sector in Moldova. About 66\,000 people have benefited from the educational and entrepreneurship programs of the TEKWILL Project\, and 218\,500 people became beneficiaries of the projects carried out in partnership with other entities. “Tekwill” was created in 2017 as a Center of Excellence of the ICT sector in Moldova\, with the main purpose of aligning the field with current market requirements. It includes four modules of study: \n\nartificial intelligence\,\nsoftware development\,\ncreative industry\,\nentrepreneurial leadership.\n\nCurrently on the platform there are three courses available: graphic design\, programming algorithms in C / C ++\, and Web Design and Development. The platform will soon add other courses of the modules. Each lesson contains a collection of interactive and compiling exercises (code interpreter) and at the end of the lessons\, students can test their knowledge in a flash quiz. \n  \nEach course can be studied individually or guided by a teacher during optional classes. Through these courses students have the opportunity to develop their creativity\, critical thinking\, improve their communication skills\, and acquire new digital skills. As information resources\, mentors have at their disposal digital texts\, explanatory videos\, simulation exercises\, interactive assessment tests. \nCurrently\, 195 teachers and 5\,327 students are already registered on the TiES platform\, who will have more interactive teaching materials available. Both students and teachers are grouped into classes and each teacher can follow the success of their student in that class. Access to this information will help the teacher to check the progress of each student\, to follow what difficulties the student encounters \,and to identify ways to help them with the possibility to personalize their practical homework. The platform also helps teachers to supervise the activity and growth of each student. \n  \nThrough this online platform teachers will have the opportunity to apply new teaching methodologies such as the flipped classroom which requires students to study homework independently and come to class to discuss and put into practice the topics studied with the teacher. These skills were acquired by teachers in a training program where teachers participated in this past summer. Soon\, on the platform\, the course calendar will become functional\, notifications and webinars will be digitized\, and gamification elements will be added. Digital badges will also be created for each student’s progress to show the skills acquired. \n  \n“Tekwill Academy” and “Tekwill Academy Kids” are two other TEKWILL educational programs with online versions available to the general public soon. \n  \n“Tekwill Academy” provides programs aimed to increase the level of trained professionals in specialized fields. Eight courses have been adapted to the current needs of the labor market and will be made available to users: \n\nJava programming\,\nC # programming\,\nProgramming in Python\,\nNetworking\,\nWeb Development\,\nManual and automatic software testing\,\nAlgorithms and data structures.\n\nThis program collaborates with major international providers by offering courses with world-renowned international certifications such as Oracle SQL Fundamentals\, Oracle Java Fundamentals\, and PMI-ACP Certification Training. In 2018 Tekwill Academy obtained SEETB accreditation for conducting certification exams in the field of Software Testing – ISTQB\, and over 50 specialists have already certified their skills in this field. \n“Tekwill Academy Kids” (TAK) will include training courses for children and adolescents aged 3 to 17. This program allows participants to explore their future from an early age. The aim of the initiative is to encourage beneficiaries to develop their digital skills\, increase their knowledge\, and discover their creative potential. In the first stage\, TAK will provide six online training courses: \n\nArduino\nGraphic design\,\nInteractive programming\,\nMathematics\,\nVideography\,\nWeb design\,\nMobile applications.\n\nAfter each course\, children will be able to apply their knowledge gained by participating or developing real projects. \nThe tekwill.online platform was created within the Tekwill Project with the support of USAID\, Sweden and UNDP development partners. The content of the site was developed by the project implementation partners together with a team of education experts. The project is carried out with the support of the Ministry of Education\, Culture and Research. \n  \nAbout TEKWILL \nThe TEKWILL project is implemented by the National Association of ICT Companies with the financial support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Sweden. “Tekwill” was created in 2017 as a Center of Excellence of the ICT sector in Moldova\, with the main goal of aligning the field with the requirements of the 21st century. Aiming to contribute to increasing the competitiveness of the IT industry and other strategic sectors of the economy\, the center has expanded its fields of activity\, becoming in 2019 a complex nationwide project. SUMMARY:STARTUP ACADEMY BOOTCAMP 2020 CONNECTS LOCAL STARTUPS TO OPPORTUNITIES
DESCRIPTION:To support the development of entrepreneurship in Moldova\, the Tekwill project organizes multiple events and projects dedicated to training Moldovan entrepreneurs. Moldovan startups that are developing innovative products and services are able to benefit from several opportunities. \nOne opportunity in particular is Startup Academy Bootcamp\, an accelerator program which recently set 11 experts in the field to meet with local entrepreneurs in Chisinau. Eight startups entered the online bootcamp which served as an excellent scaling tool\, given that startups have been offered absolutely free access to an entire ecosystem of business founders\, investors\, and consultants. The bootcamp has been organized by the Startup Moldova Program\, implemented within the TEKWILL project with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Sweden. \nAna Chirița\, director of the TEKWILL project: “The idea we started from was to offer entrepreneurs a useful experience and to contribute to the creation of networks of knowledge and inspiration for entrepreneurs. This program provided participants with a complex set of workshops from which they learned about the principles of starting a business\, identifying\, and exploring the benefits of target markets\, gaining access to finance\, etc. The bootcamp is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on knowledge from professionals in the field and to establish connections with Startup Academy organizers\, partners\, and mentors\, who have guided participants to grow their business quickly. Thus\, we contribute to the acceleration of local entrepreneurship\, and startups that have the courage to adopt innovations and use their ideas intelligently\, and later will be able to build businesses with local\, regional or international impact.” \nStartup Academy Bootcamp – a platform for connecting startups with investors and experts in the field \nThe participants in the 2020 edition of Startup Academy Bootcamp had the opportunity to improve their skills and entrepreneurial knowledge with 11 qualified mentors: four local mentors and seven international mentors from Romania\, the Russian Federation\, the Czech Republic\, Georgia and Hungary. Among them is Răzvan Atim\, the representative of UiPath – the startup that became a “unicorn” whose value was estimated at 10.2 million dollars in 2020. Over the course of three days\, the young entrepreneurs presented their businesses and received personalized feedback\, resulting in improvements to their development objectives for their startups. \nAlina Rozanova\, Executive Director\, TouchPlatform\, Georgia: “Several aspects are extremely important in presenting a business so that we can persuade investors: focus on the chosen field\, be stable and with rapid growth potential\, profit – we must be able to demonstrate that the money invested will bring profit\, we also mention about the market analysis\, exact figures\, because the statistics show that investors are more willing to allocate finance to companies that already have a prototype product/service. The team also plays an important role\, investors pay attention to the team and the founders of the business\, they aim to be involved\, sincere and ambitious. And the icing on the cake – the pitch. A crucial aspect is the impeccable presentation of the business plan\, and exact arguments on the financial needs and use of funds.” \nFor those looking to expand into new markets\, Europe is undoubtedly a platform full of opportunities\, experts suggest. Last year\, around 2\,300 startups were set up in the EU\, most of them in fields such as Tech\, Greentech or Fintech. In a study conducted in 2019\, 64% of European startup founders said they prefer Europe to launch their business\, to the detriment of other continents. The most powerful startup ecosystems can be found in the UK\, Germany\, or France. The founders of startups consider that talent and value for money are the main strengths of Europe. \nTamás Békási\, Project Manager\, eitHealth: “Expanding your business in the EU is an important and courageous decision. But you need to look at a few things\, such as energy resources or fintech that are different in each country\, before choosing your target audience. You also need to be aware of the GDPR restrictions for that country. In recent years\, social entrepreneurship – projects focused on climate\, health\, agriculture has been encouraged and you will find many public resources that will fund your idea.” \nOther interactive sessions included workshops on topics such as customer retention strategies\, the art of presenting\, market/investor research methods\, fundraising strategies\, and economic units (costs\, revenues\, profit). At the pitching workshops\, both the entrepreneurs and the mentors browsed the creative ideas and reformed what a startup needs to build and offer a captivating pitch. At the end participants presented their ideas in front of a panel of experts. \nDumitru Albot\, co-founder of SMARTEST: “There is no success that appears overnight. It all depends on your perseverance and dedicated time\, years of trials and tribulations\, which\, in the end\, will give important results. Startup Bootcamp is the system that can significantly reduce the learning trajectory\, but also accelerate scalable results\, and this helps you to have more clarity in the journey through the sphere of entrepreneurship.” \nDiscover the startups! \nStartups participating in bootcamps are among the most active and innovative startups in the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. \n\nTeleportravel – an online travel platform where any traveler can promote routes so that other tourists can find new and unexplored places in Moldova. The project provides the opportunity to every tourist to share their own tourist experiences with other enthusiastic travelers via the Teleportravel platform which contains an online guide and Messenger.\nAgricos – an online marketplace for local producers and small/medium farmers where they can sell their products directly to consumers. Farmers also have the opportunity to sell directly to B2B consumers and earn at least 15% more\, receiving orders without leaving the farmland.\nWOOP – a transparent and reusable protective mask which aims to solve the communication and pollution problems that occur after using current surgical masks meant to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. More than $150\,000 is needed for the mass production of the WOOP mask which is why the team of inventors has launched a fundraising campaign to launch the innovative product.\nEAGRIASSIST – a web trading platform that unites local agri-food farmers and commercial actors for the development of trade in agricultural products.\nSMARTEST – an educational platform with the help of which high school students assess their knowledge gaps to better prepare for exams. SMARTEST combines psycho-pedagogical best practices with IT solutions for maximum efficiency in training students and provides psychological preparation before passing the exams.\nAppzi- an easy-to-use feedback tool that helps entrepreneurs find suggestions and feedback about their products. The given feedback can be useful to the entire design or development team using the Appzi feedback management portal.\niBeauty – an application through which reservations can be made for beauty salons/shops. ibeauty evolves the practices of the beauty industry and reinvents the way Moldovan consumers see the beauty industry.\nKickly – an online application that facilitates sports associations to create high-quality graphics at lower costs by using predefined templates that will facilitate the creation of graphic images.\nro – online educational platform for individual guidance\, which uses web conferencing tools designed for students and teachers. Built on the model of crowdsourcing\, the platform aims to combine educational content and correlate the material of different school subjects with current curricula.\nLife – It is a digital platform for virtual wine tastings. Being located anywhere in the world\, Gustos.Life users can invest\, resell and finally\, offer a gift of any brand of wine produced globally with a simple click.\n\n  \nAbout the TEKWILL project \nStartup Academy Bootcamp\, part of the “Startup Moldova” Program\, took place between September 30 and October 2\, 2020.
